The last we heard from
The Crow, was that it was getting the standard reboot. And speaking with MTV , producer Edward Pressman, gave some updates for the new installment.
It was previously reported that Stephen Norrington (Blade) is set to write and direct the new Crow film and apparently everything is looking good for the next chapter. Pressman said that "Norrington's screenplay is finished and, terrific."
He also talked about the illustrations for the film, which are being made by Avatar production designer Rob Stromberg. He said that the illustrations are "quite different from Alex Proyas' approach with the original Crow."
Even though there is still no actors attached to the project, Pressman confirmed that "the offer is out to a major actor and things are moving ahead very aggressively, with the aim of doing the film this year."
One more thing he talked about are the locations and where will the film take place:
"The setting is the southwest — the Mexico/Arizona area, and an urban setting. There are two locations that the film is set. Its initial platform is in the southwest and then it moves to the big city in the north, middle or eastern America, and then back."
So there you go. What are your thoughts about the reboot?
