FANTASTIC!! That looks SO much better than what we've seen in the set pictures. I'm guessing this is how the suit will look on film. It's awesome.

I'm not excited at all about this movie. I'm ready for everything to be back where it needs to be...at home with Marvel Studios. I'm ready for crossovers, dammit!!

why did you think it was gonna look like the set pictures lol

just so you know guy the reason the suit in set pics were so bright in color is because it is being shot in RED EPIC 3D

YES. I love the title they gave for it, glad they're not just gonna go by Spider-Man. :P
And EPIC costume. Makes the set pictures look mediocre.

well obviously the set pics are not exactly going to look great, there going to enhance and gloss over certain things on the suit when they finish shooting. Judging a movie based on set pics is a bit silly

One thing about Rami's spiderman he was always kinda of stiff (not the cgi) hopefully this one is way more flexibility

I agree with Exiles, people are jumping to conclusions and assuming the suit will look Exactly like what they've seen in the set pics.

But this pic is amazing! And im happy about the title of the film too =)! yay!

I really feel like this picture is showing us that this spiderman will be more like the comics(minus the suit) more agility, more flexibility, webshooters and all! look at the pose! sweet ! im loving it!(the mcdonalds tune!) lol XD

I'm glad they went back to the black webs on the suit rather than the silver ones. Suit looks so much better than it did in the set photos.

@ziggy ! AGREED!!! Im a big spiderman fan!! but i was never truely happy with tobey as spiderman, i for one was asking for the reboot!! even though spiderman2 was amazing!! i not a big fan of rami either!! rami got aspects of spiderman that he liked not what the fans like (venom for example! he does not like him but threw him in last minute because that is what fans expected of that movie! ahh)

Looks awesome. I hope the black crotch is gone. I'm sure it is! I read somewhere it was to hide Andrew Garfield's large package. (hehe) Here's hoping.

MARVELous - 2/14/2011, 12:47 PM
AWESOME! i'm actually really excited about this movie. based on appearance alone, i feel like Andrew Garfield makes a more believable Peter Parker than a 27-year-old Tobey Maguire in the first Spider-Man film.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't Peter get his abilities when he was a sophomore in high school?

I wont eat my words, still crap to me. One pretty picture doesn't make the suit good or the movie good. Not lookin forward to watchin Spiderboy in high school all over again. I got enough of that wit Sam's Spiderman and the Spectacular Spiderman, grow him up already and bring on Carnage.
Exiles
Exiles - 2/14/2011, 12:50 PM
the major problem with raimi's spidey movies was the fact that when peter suited up he was practically mute, there was no smart ass comments coming from him. Its spideys way of dealing with his miserable life, you can even call it tactic to piss of his enemies. But theres no denying that raimi delivered two good spiderman movies so this reboot has a lot to live up to and hope fully it does

richal13 - 2/14/2011, 12:50 PM
I'm also glad it's being filmed in 3-D so it will have the true 3-D feel ala AVATAR and not some cheesy post production feel like Clash of the Titans. Off subject...when do we get an official Red Skull pic?

See guys, when you see the suit in the lighting and with the lens filters they're using for the film it looks awesome. Just remember anytime you see regular photos from a movie set it's not always how the film camera is catching the image. Remember the camera taking the photo cost a couple hundred bucks most times, but the film cameras cost as much as a house. The quality on film will always be way better than what a guy three hundred yards away can snap with a cannon digital. Dying to see this thing.

Perfect Title. Thank god 3D is not part of the title.

Also, the official image there looks AWESOME. Now that we see the suit how it was meant to be viewed (not in set shots), it looks really damn good.

love it, love the color and design there lol i understand why the suit is so bright on the set cuz the 3D glasses will dim the picture that way it'll be just right when youre in the theater, either way...i love it EXCEPT for the yellow eyes...but it 'fits' the costume if that makes any sense
