This movie looks soooo good.

@imnotahero All of the apes became geniuses so its not that hard to believe they were able to either find them or construct them themselves

Find them where? Construct them out of what? How hard are they throwing them that they can pierce car metal? Guns just seem more effective to me. lol. thanks Comics Commando.

@imnotahero

Not that I agree that they can easily find or make spears, but you do realize that car metal today is very thin... with enough force, you could probably pierce it with a pocket knife...

If it counts for anything, Caesar does reportedly say one word in the movie.

@ imnotahero: They make the spears with what they find. Chimps already make primitive tools in the wild, such as spoons, forks, knives and other items to assist in eating, digging, opening, or even killing.

As for piercing the van. Chimps have enough strength to drag over 1,200 lbs of dead weight through the ground unassisted by wheels. Orangutangs easily flip cars and have the strength to rip a grown man in half. Gorillas are substantially stronger then both chimps and Orangutangs. So, it is highly possible for one of them to throw the spear straight through the van, if the spear is made of a strong enough substance.

@ Justsomeawesomeguy: Agreed lol I don't think it will be. Just hope the sequel isn't "Return of the Rise of Planet of the Apes"
