We have been hearing about
24 movie for a long time now. But it seems that Kiefer Sutherland and producer Howard Gordon are hoping to start filming this summer. While promoting his new TV show called
Touch, Sutherland was also asked about the status of the film and what can we expect.
According to
TVLine.com,
"Sutherland said that the hope is for the 24 movie to start filming “at the end of April, beginning of May.”" As for how much time has passed between the finale of the show and the film, Sutherland mentioned that
"the movie will be “relatively a direct continuation. We’re talking maybe six months from the end of that episode.”"
TVLine added that
"...the feature will cover a 24-hour crisis period, though obviously not in real time but over the course of its two-hour (or however long) running time."
Plus, the producer of the film, Howard Gordon confirmed to
TV Guide Magazine that Chloe O'Brian played by Mary Lynn Rajskub will also be in the film, along with the new cast:
