In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system's natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers.

Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.


Starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Logan Marshall-Green, Prometheus is set to hit theatres on June 8th, 2012.

Honestly i've been more stoked to see this than the Avengers,Atleast until i saw the avengers.I live fo these horror genre films,It better not be disappointing!

Lol... Ironically I cast Fassbender as Vision in my Avengers cast; check it out if u can guys ;)

Going back 2 the topic at hand, hyped 4 this movie, enjoyed the 1st 2 'Alien' movies but was never too excited bout them, but 'Prometheus' looks really special, count me sold!

@Ryhs Woah dude...Fassbender as Vision? With his voice and mannerisms? F*cking awesome. And for those of you who think all these 'spoilers' that Ridley Scott and so forth has decided to 'let out'....it hasn't changed my desire to see this film in the least. So go f*ck yourselves. He's handling the promotion of this movie just right. This is an amazing cast of unbelievable actors, and instead of keeping commonfolk in the dark with vague trailers he's basically engineering interest in this movie months in advance. See what I did there?
