It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

Starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and Morgan Freeman, The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit theatres on July 20, 2012.

It definitely has a "Batman: The Animated Series" vibe. Maybe it's the font.

I don't like the bat symbol for the eyes, but otherwise it looks pretty neat. Reminds me of the episode title art in Batman: TAS

Hey guys I am not allowed to talk about this movie. I was VERY fortunate to see it tonight in Texas, and in one word. Wow. I need to see it again because there is just so much that happened. I will say that a lot of the information that is posted as spoilers are BS. Including a lot of people's speculation on the ending. I had to sign a waver saying I would not post anything about this movie until Friday. We had to turn in all our cell phones before the screening as well. Please ask me no questions because I can't not answer anything. Not even technical questions. I can assure you I am not lying about this, and regular posters know I wouldn't BS. I can say the story is much, MUCH better than Begins and TDK. That is all though.

@Mr. Reese,

I know, I married the right woman, that's all I will say. Anyway, everyone AVOID Spoilers!!! There are some scenes that haven't been spoiled that will just blow you away!

Thanks GoILL, I'm going to try and post something about it here in a second. I just don't know what I can say, because honestly I can't say anything. I can't compare it to any film, I can't talk about it technically, thematically, or even mention anyone's performance. It's like holding onto a big secret.

(By the way I know I could post an entire spoiler filled article and probably not get caught, but seriously you do not want me to do that. There is just so much to this film, and I can't from a fanboy standpoint spoil it. Just please guys avoid spoilers because trust me, some of the scenes will just blow you the frick away).

Ahhh Mr. Reese, please ask me on Friday because I can't compare it to other films. But, it didn't let me down at all. It was everything I hoped it would be and then some. Nolan seems to have learned from his mistakes.

irony is that RidiculousFanBoyDemands will be ridiculously demanded information from fan boys about the screening =D
RidiculousFanBoyDemands
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 7/14/2012, 11:19 PM
haha, that actually made me laugh out loud riddlemethis09. Truth be told I have been working on an article all night, but I seriously can't say anything. I honestly think if I post anything on this site about what I saw, that comicbookmovie.com could be in deep shit unless it takes it down. Seriously they put the fear of God in me before they showed the movie.
