If it looks like the image above, then cool.

Starting to get tired of CG movies though. Would love to see Cel-shading get the studio thumbs up.

The live action Popeye was a failure. This has potential, though.

I wonder if they'll keep the same non-PC humour? Probably not, but I'll still go see it.

I'm so sick of CGI cartoons, but I can't see Popeye being in live-action again. What ever happened to classic 2D toons?!?

I hope this movie doesn't look like the CGI art in the article cuz that style isn't all that.

I won't watch this until Nolan or Fincher directs a gritty reboot where popeye is a schizophrenic spinach addict.

Popeye is awesome and I'll always enjoy the classic toons but I could really do without this movie. A CG version I could DEFINITELY do without but if Genndy's doing it then it's bound to be good. Dude knows how to make great animated shows/movies.

If Jason ever played: Popeye he wouldn't "drop" the British-accent. Others have...but I just can't see him dropping the accent, so he can just play an American. But...who knows it? Samurai Jack would be awesome!

I had no idea a new Popeye movie was in the works.

If they could make the animation style similar to Tin Tin, this would look fantastic visually.

Oh yeah and... I'm Popeye the sailor man. I live in a garbage can. I turned on the gas... and you all know the rest. :P
