Director Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) creates a groundbreaking movie event about a young man who survives a tragic disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While marooned on a lifeboat, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with the ship's only other survivor -- a fearsome Bengal tiger.









Directed by Ang Lee, and starring Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Gerard Depardieu and Rafe Spall, Life of Pi is set to hit US theatres on November 21st.

I've heard about this movie here and there, but when I saw the TV spots it really got me interested. The Tiger is awesome!

They don't make movies like this anymore.

I remember being forced to sit through like 10 minutes of this film before Prometheus started. Didn't care for it then and refuse to see it now.

Someone else in the theater felt the same way and finally shouted, "Get this s--t off the screen and start the f'ing movie already." The audience busted out laughing.

That guy is rascist.this movie is all about how an asian indian boy survived in fatal disaster,while not only he managed to survived,but there is another;the bengal tiger.

i don't think he was being racist.

rude? dumb? probably. but i think the negative reaction had more to do with the story and style of the film, as opposed to the race of the characters.
