Nice! Seeing a number one contender type of list is great. Thanks for your work on the fight club!

how the hell is Batman number 3? i love the guy but he'd be wasted by pretty much everyone underneath him

@smokahontas: Thats why their should be weight classes, and most of the time, people suggest characters to fight who are in the same league. Plus this list is more about the most victourious than who could beat who.

@golden thanks for the clarification bro! and i do agree it's more popularity than actual win

Why would Captain America not be that high? I honestly don't see how he lost the fight against Batman. He outclasses Batman in hand-to-hand combat. The only chance Batman has against him is the element of surprise...and even then Steve is not easy to get the jump on. Captain America is just as good at him, if not better than him, in melee combat, fighting logistics, etc. Add to the fact that Batman has shown he TIRES OUT pretty darn fast in a long fight...Cap has the stamina to outlast him.

Cap is a solid A class fighter. Sure he might be outclassed by some of the mega heroes. If he went against Thor or Silver Surfer it wouldn't be much of a fair fight...but then again those are galactic level superheroes. You have to pit them against each other.

Honestly he has fallen to #20 after losing to Wolverine. Come on though, Robin? War Machine? He'd obliterate them..even if we are talking Tim Drake Robin. He has even beaten Hulk before. But it is all based on popularity, even if they are trying to say 'who do you think would win'. Batman will win pretty much every fight because everyone is a huge sucker for Batman. He is a great detective and a solid fighter folks...but he isn't all you make him out to be.

So me and a couple of buddies were debating on who would win in a fight. Yoda vs. Superman. Thoughts?

Why hasn't Batman fought Thor they are ranked at the top, he's the number one contender, make it happen, he is up there with all the heavyweights where he doesn't belong, its time for him to fight and stop ignoring the top competitors.
