A fancast for the upcoming X-Men film that features Apocalypse. This film will follow the events of DOFP.

James McAvoy as Charles Xavier/Professor X
Playing a broken man trying to get back on the right path and recover the dream he once had with wide eyes, Charles is no longer ashamed of being a mutant. He stops using the serum which leaves him permanately confined to a wheelchair.

Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto
After being shot in the neck by Mystique, Magneto tries to hunt her down. Still hellbent on his ideals that mutants should reign supreme over humans, Magneto relunctantly allies himself with Charles to fight Apocalypse. His solemn attitude contrasts with everyone else. Imagine his face when they do the "Quicksilver is your son reveal".

Stephen Lang as Nathan Summers/Cable
DOFP proved they could have an exstensive cast and not be over-crowded. Cable will be the time-traveler in the film along with Bishop. Cable and Blink work together to bring forth every possible mutant to help in the fight against Apocalypse.

Tim Pocock as a younger Scott Summers/Cyclops
Not everyone is a fan of Marsden as Cyclops. The good thing is, the Apocalypse film will take place in the 80's and they plan on introducing a young Cyclops which Pocock could do. He could really make up for Origins in which he didn't rreally have much of a role.  Even more so it might turn some fans over to Marsden as we could possibly see an evolution into the Cyclops from X1 and 2.

Jane Levy as a younger Jean Grey/Phoenix
Considering that they also said Jean Grey would appear except younger I figured we could see a reimagining of the scene from Last Stand when Magneto and Charles both go to visit Jean at her home. Maybe if we're lucky we could even see her in the outfit pictured.

Lupita Nyong'o as a younger Ororo Munroe/Storm
A much different person from the Halle Berry-esque Storm, this storm shares views smilar to those of Magneto before being swayed by Prof. Xavier to use her powers for the greater good so mutants wouldn't be feared or have to live in fear. In this film we would really see the transition from a violent Storm to the calm Storm that truly believed in Xavier's dream second only to Cyclops and possibly Beast.

Fan Bingbing as Clarice Ferguson/Blink
Fan is set to return as Blink in Apocalypse. I honestly don't know how they're going to make that work but I'm a fan of Fan and her portrayal of Blink so I'm asking no questions here.

Matt Barr as Warren Worthington III/Angel
Though already appearing in Last Stand, DOFP basically retconned the whole movie. That being said we shouldn't recast Ben Foster due to that being like a slap in the faceplus Ben's not looking like he did nowadays. DOFP was a time-traveling film so if they need a reason for Angel appearing in the 80's just say some things changed in the timeline. We deserve Angel as a member of the early X-Men also along with Jean and Cyclops.

Milla Jovovich as Tamara Winters/Domino
Although not the best actress, if there's one thing Milla can do it's look pretty and shoot a gun. Domino travels back to the present alongside Cable andf helps against the threat of Apocalypse.

Alexander Skarsgard as a younger Victor Creed/Sabretooth
EVERY X-Men movie has had Wolverine as the main character. Apocalypse, in my hands, would be a Cyclops movie. However, Wolverine vs. Sabretooth is a comic book rivalry that can't be ignored and deserves to be done justice. Let's say X1 happened in the year 2000 (when it came out) so Apocalypse is set in the 80's. That's 20 years for Wolvie vs. Sabreooth to be told. Victor is confronted by Stryker about the Weapon X program around the time Wolverine should be healing from it, which Stryker decides to keep in the dark. Hopefully, this might set up for a Origins film that's actually good.

Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy/Beast
The right-hand man to Charles Xavier. Nicholas Hoult has thoroughly impressed me as Beast, even more so than Kelsey Grammar. Nicholas embodies the quirky nerd that is young Hank and the aggressive creature that is Beast. He even clobbers both Wolverine AND Magneto during DOFP.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler
Originally, I had the idea to bring the watch Nightcrawler possessed in the X-Men: Evolution television series to the big screen. But now, with the introduction of the serum that allowed Charles to walk with the sacirifce of his powers the watch is null and void. In my world, Hank develops and perfects the serum by being able to change appearance without having to give up one's powers unless they choose to turn into their mutant form due to Mystique's, his mother, DNA being used in the serum. That way, we can get the ass-kicking Nightcrawler in action while also getting Joseph's sly wit. Don't worry just like Beast in DOFP just because he can stay human doesn't mean he will. No one goes to X-Men movies to see humans.

Lucas Till as Alex Summers/Havok
Now sis this is a tricky one. Good thing for X-Men since they never established HOW Alex is related to Scott. I'm personally not good with relations so someone tell me how it could work for Alex to be older yet related to Scott in a way that's not his father. I'm personally thinking uncle or even cousin.

Lilly Collins as young Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch
Quicksilver is finally revealed to be Magneto's son, causing him to check on his sister, Wanda to see if she possessed any mutant powers. Wanda sends Magneto through three walls using her hex powers. Scarlet then asks begrudgingly if they had any other siblings they didn't kow about. We would eventually see a mutant power battle between Polaris and Scarlet Witch.

Gabriella Wilde as Lorna Dane/Polaris
A mutant with complicated ties to Havok. It seems she was simply using Havok to keep tabs on Magneto, a man she thought to be her biological father. Lorna has a hatred towards both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch due to their easy life.

Godfrey Gao as Shiro Yoshida/Sunfire
A talented young actor that, off looks alone, could play Sunfire, a mutant who has yet to make his cinematic debut.

Channing Tatum as Remy LeBeau/Gambit
Back when I did my Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe fancast I liked the idea of Tatum as Gambit when it was just Donner's "idea". Now that it's confirmed I couldn't be happier. Tatum playing Gambit will be awesome. May fans don't think the same but those are probably the same fans who thought Evan Peters wouldn't be a good Quicksilver. I've learned to trust their casting choices.

Jamie Chung as Betsy Braddock/Psylocke
Alot of people pick Jamie Chung for Jubilee but I think she'd make a much better Psylocke. Assuming Wolverine no longer is the star of the series then the franchise will need another hot, young leading actor/actress. Jamie Chung is perfect for Psylcoke. Then in due time, Psylocke can take a backseat and Pocock can deliver us a great Cyclops.

Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask
Although he did steal the scenes he had, Peter was sorely underused in DOFP. That being said he should get alot more screen time in Apocalypse.

Evan Jonigkeit as Mortimer Toynbee/Toad
Toad had a really neat look that truly felt like comic book purity on the big screen.  Sadly he got little to no screen time, In Apocalypse he needs  a way more major role as part of the Brotherhood.

Gregg Lowe as Eric Gitter/Ink
Another character with comic book purity that definitely needs more screen time in Apocalypse as a member of the Brothehood.

Vin Diesel as En Sabbah Nur/Apocalypse
The first mutant and main villain of the film. Apocalypse threatens both human and mutant-kind with extremist Darwinism and his powerful mutant abilites. Vin has the perfect gravely voice for this ominous character. It'd be a big turn from playing a kind-hearted tree in GotG. Vin could also play the adult humanoid version of the character in a flashback. Vin is known for the F&F films but if you ask me his voice work goes greatly underappreciated.

or

Jim Cummings as the voice of Apocalypse
One of the most versatile voice actors in history. Seriously, just Google the voices he's done and he deliver a more than pleasing Apocalypse.

Why recast Havok? Chris Pine is only 7 years younger than James Marsden. Cyclops
can't age 7 years from 1980-2000, it doesn't make any sense. Same with the actor you chose for Angel.

I like the fan-cast, but it wouldn't make sense with what the X-Men movies have
already established.

I'm sorry but this is really bad....
They are hardly "younger", you do know that young Storm, Cyclops and Jean will be in their late teens?

Some great pics for the younger X-Men. The problem is, the actors you chose aren't young. Chris Pine is only about 7-8 years younger than Marsden.

No to Vinnie, he was bad.

What's the deal with this Lupita chick? Is she that good of an actress or is she just the current flavor of the month because she is attractive? Not being a dick I just haven't seen her work but see her in a lot of fancasts in the role of young attractive black female.

@l0rdleg0las

Lupita is a good actress I've seen her in several films. I personally don't think she's attractive though.

@BoomTube8 Apocalypse originated from Egypt, why would those accents be necessary at all?

En Sabah Nur needs to played by an actor with a really great voice, cuz Apocalypse has some really awesome lines. I always thought Djimon Hounsou would be good. "I am as far beyond mutants as they are beyond you. I am ETERNAL!"

Do we really need more time travel
UltimateCookie

@SirDuckAlot

Time-travel is an important part of some major storylines in X-Men. Plus the casual movie-goer will keep in place with the inclusion of new mutants from DOFP like Blink, Bishop, Sunspot, etc.

@CookieKid247

As far as McAvoy as Xavier and Fassbender as Magneto those casting choices are pretty much set in stone same going with Lucas Till as Havok

Love Stephen Lang as Cable, he would be perfect as Cable in my opinion, it can't get any better than that casting choice to be perfectly honest

As Cyclops instead of Tim Pocock in the role of a younger Scott Summers I would go with Chace Crawford or even Jared Padalecki

As a younger Jean Grey, Jean Levy is actually perfect believe it or not so no argument from me there

As a younger Ororo Munroe/Storm I would go with Jessica Lucas

Fan as Brink is pretty much set in stone

But as for Angel/Warren Worthington III I would go with Garrett Hedlund here

Milla Jovovich as Domino is actually a pretty interesting choice so you get no argument from me here

As a younger Sabretooth, Alexander Skarsgard is actually perfect now that I think about it on a certain level he actually would be great as Sabretooth believe it or not so no arguments here on that pick

Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy/Beast is also pretty much set in stone

As Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler I would go with Gaspard Ulliel instead of Joseph Gordon Levitt because JGL he would be perfect if it was an X-Men reboot altogether but since this is pretty much set after DOFP and if it is in the 80s you are going to need a younger Nightcrawler and who better than Ulliel? Especially if you have seen his work in Hannibal Rising he would be perfect for the role of Nightcrawler

Lily Collins as Scarlet Witch, definitely a perfect casting choice there, loved her in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones she was perfect as Clary and as Scarlet Witch she and Quicksilver Evan Peters would be perfect as a brother/sister combination

Gabriella Wilde as Polaris, no argument from me on this pick, perfect

Channing Tatum as Remy Lebeau/Gambit is actually a perfect pick even though personally I would have kept Taylor Kitsch or even cast Emile Hirsch in the role but I will give Tatum a chance as Remy because he will probably be able to knock it out of the park because all he would have to do is grow his hair long and wear the signature headband that Gambit wears or the fedora that Kitsch wore and he would be able to do wonders in the role

Peter Dinklage back as Trask, I loved him in DOFP, love him on Game of Thrones so Marvel was right to cast him in the role

Your Toad and Ink picks I definitely do not have a problem with at all

But Vin Diesel as Apocalypse I actually do not have a problem with, Vin Diesel would actually knock it out of the park and considering he is already playing a Marvel character playing Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy with him playing a villain in the X-Men series especially playing Apocalypse he would be perfect

Some of your casting choices are good. However, i would love to see another actor in the role of Apocalypse but that's just my opinion. Your casting on the young X-men however is purely solid.

I must be the only one who feel's sick that Channing Tatum will be playing the Cajun Thief.

Lang is the popular choice for cable, I would rather see Neal McDonough for cable.
