The Dark Knight Rises: Anne Hathaway's Catwoman Costume Has Cat Ears After All?

From a Hollywood Life source who also had the first details of the Catwoman costume being tactical and having goggles, they now reveal new details about the costume...

“Those goggles she has on, they go back on her head like a headband, and they are actually pointy cat ears,”
reveals our Dark Knight source.

Anne Hathaway told MTV recently,"“What I am happy to say is, if you didn’t like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do.” Well it looks like she wasn't lying, now that I look at the picture with that in mind, I can see it. I breathe a sigh of relief that she will actually have something that makes her appear more cat like. Seems silly, but what's the point in having Selina Kyle/Catwoman in a movie if she doesn't resemble the character that we all love.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

What pointy cat ears? They barely have that "swish" that cat ear headbands do. :S

i still say make it look like her costume in hush, that would be perfect, even for nolon's more realistic approach.

She looks exactly like Black Widow. Nolan was very uncreative with the costume. Let's hope the acting is solid at least.

There's only so many ways a tight black leather costume can look, lol. Catwoman is known for wearing tight black leather, just like Black Widow. So if they look similar, don't blame Nolan, again, how exactly do you make black leather look different? lol

Anyway, i can totally see how those flap things on the goggles will look like cat ears, so thats cool at least.

She obviously just going to be known as "Selina Kyle the cat burglar" and not have an alter ego, due to fact that it wont be much of a secret identity with her hair out and just a masquerade mask on.

I hope the other "90% of what the outfit can do" is that it comes off during the movie, or I'll have to use my Bat-disappointment Spray.

This just in; Bane will indeed use Venom to "buff up", but the venom tubes will be part of a backpack that will link the pack to Bane's nipples. Nolan last said in a press conference that he was happy to be able to hire Joel Schumacher to design the venom inducing suit since he had no idea how to incorporate the tube in a believable manner. He also stated that while he had joel on board, he'd get him to design a brand new type of head gear for Catwoman that would be much more practical. Fans will get to see the designs in all their glory in the epic climax of his trilogy, where Batman will have to fight Bane and his nipple juice, along side his brand new side kick; nope not Robin, but Catwoman.
