@marvel72- Hahahaha true good point. It'd be cool if in the movie he exerts soooo much pressure when peddling at one point that he accidently destroys the bicycle hahahaha. That would be funny. So then he switches to a car...oh boy, pushes the gas-pedal all the way through the car hahahahaha kiddin.

Loving the look of this film. People have to realise this is Clark before he dons the Superman suit - hence why he's without the glasses.

What I'm wondering is this- we already got set photos of Cavill in the Superman suit in Smallville battling Faora and Mo-Cap man.

These Metropolis scenes seem to take place after all that. So...this wouldn't be the pre-Superman Clark Kent then. This is just Clark when he's not dressed as Superman. So we could be in store for a modern Clark Kent and no glasses! Interesting!!!

I'm thinking the Supes/Zod battle will be in Metropolis rather than Smallville since those scenes are obviously done.

I like how much more 'real' Metropolis looks in this film. It looks so normal compared to the previous film versions. Not all campy like those other ones and it just seems to have the right amount of cleanliness/dirtiness.

I mean it obviously looks nicer than Gotham as it should but it doesn't look at all like the "utopia" it's always been in the cartoons, old films and SR.

I'm liking this look.

It definitely seems like Snyder is giving Clark Kent/Superman a new set of balls he never had in the previous films.

This Superman sounds pretty physical indeed according to nailbiter's update about the major battle with the military and zod in metropolis.

This will be the first movie that actually gives us the REAL Superman!

@Jahozafat- Yeah the minute i saw this article i right away noticed the word "Veritas"

hopefully though snyder doesn't find 'too much' inspiration from Smallville. We'd like to actually SEE Superman in this one. But also we don't want a boring Superman like what Donner/Singer gave us. Donner's Superman= too romantic and never fought a lot. Singer's Superman= pathetic.

@Nephillim- I figure they must, i mean they were filmed AFTER the Smallville ones. But that's just a theory...who knows at this point. I never stated my opinion as FACT though.

@Berger45- Yep Cavill is Superman. The only Superman we've had since the past 10 years. =D

In the comics and cartoons Superman is a pretty decent fighter and he FIGHTS.

I love that they made Clark a bike rider. Superman is all eco friendly as he should be.
About the glasses, it's a lot like the Superman Earth one.
he doesn't adopt the glasses and mannerisms of nerdy Clark until the end when Superman is public..
