She could not resist. This dealer simply went by the name 'The Doctor' and was able to compose his own drugs b/c of his background at Arkham where pharmocology was his primary treatment expertese. Well Mom got hooked and ultimately went crazy and we had to lock her in her bedroom and watch and feed her around the clock. But I became a genius in chemistry and drug applications. I got some help by a friend who knew what my family was going thru. This friend was a chemist and anti-bio weapons expert at Wayne Enterprises. FINALLY we were close to a cure for my Mom. But it was too late, she was killed to shut her up by one of the Scarecrows goons. (what he had to do with it I have no clue!) So I had a cure and nothing to do with ti! I had been boxing since I was seven b/c My father had always boxed and I did karate on the side. I had been training most of my life *now 14 years old. The lonely dangerous streets of Gotham were my playground at night as I became the small time vigilante known as Black Robin Hood. So to circumvent a violence reducer on powrful ninja kicks meant to break shin and rib bones my suit developers modified the boots with steel toes and the top of the foot areas. SO there you have it. Anyway I saved Bruces, or should I say Batman's life one day when he was attacking Scarecrows heist at an Axis Chemicals off plant site. Me personally I was there doing recon. When I saw how out numbered he was I attacked. Like a pawn on a chess board defending my Knight's only open flank - he moved so fast that he covered 76% of his circular fight zone and of course he strategically had his back to the wall as much as he could to prevent sneak attacks. We were almost done when - at a break in the fighting - he schooped me up, basically with one arm and demanded the purpose of my being there and told me he did not allow 'copy cats to leave very happy' "copy cats?" thats not me! The confrontation gave Scarecrow the moment he needed to attack. he sprayed batman with his new advanced fear toxin the same one he used on my Mom. And I was the only one with the fast acting antidote. Long story short I saved batman and gave Scarecrow the beating of his life. I took off his mask and threw it to Batman as trophy (yeah I could not find any T rex's) When I realized that Dr. Crane and Scarecrow were the same man, I could not believe it! This man manipulated my Mom this WHOLE time and used her as a drug whore and test tube! I applied a deadly choke hold and began to twist. I could hear the minor bones in his neck reaching their breaking strain and applied more pressure. batman saved the maniac by pulling me off of him and lifting me up again. "That is NOT how we do things!" ("We?" is he recruiting me?) "I will show you MY way. Come on boy." From that day forwad I was Black Robin. Good thing the Joker is locked up. I have not gotten revenge out of my blood stream yet. After all, the Joker did kill my Father,..a Gang boss who protected his turf with an iron black fist and just happen to be my OTHER parent with an addiction,..his was that he just happen to love to,...Gamble
