RECAP: This past weekend Christopher Nolan filmed his third Batman film on Wall Street. First off he shot scenes involving two opposing mobs that charge into each other and showed off their shadow boxing skills. The interesting thing about the mobs was that Bane's mob was made up of Gotham citizens and his mercenaries. While Matthew Modine lead a mob of police officers, with Batman apparently lining up with the cops in this gigantic brawl.

Much of the weekend was just filming scene after scene of the melee, with different takes producing more gunfire and explosions upon the three tumblers that sat square in the middle of the two mobs. Late into the Saturday shoot we finally got a glimpse of Bane and Batman fighting, but filming was cut short based on people sneaking on the set and pretending to be extras screwed up the continuity.

Sunday brought us more of the same with the brawl between the two mobs taking up much of the day, but then we got a surprise as a scene involving a tumbler running over a supporting actor was captured. Then a quick shot of Catwoman racing through the battle scarred streets of Gotham were taken in the last moments of daylight, and the day was done.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

I just don't get excited about this movie. It looks so "meh" to me. I don't get what's so great about it.

Given Hardy's height, I'm surprised they didn't design his costumes boots with taller/ thicker soles. That's what the costume designers did for Hayden in Revenge of Sith, to match the height for the original Vader, Prowse. Either way, I'm totally digging the Bane look.

Guys i just noticed something, Bane's mask looks like a realistic version of his iconic mask. Then also, they will do cgi on his costume. On his vest i see wires strapped up to it. Probably for Toxin? Then his costume looks stretched out so im sure they can handle that. And they will edit his voice. For TDK, they editted his voice to where it can sound like that. Then you can't doubt Chris Nolan as much as we doubted Heath Ledger (RIP). I'm looking forward to this movie now (Hope they can do some work with catwoman's costume)

Then look at the detailing of the back of his neck, could be a connectio with the venom.

i would love a chance to drive the bat pod, it would be sweet, I red that its steering is fairly poor, the same as some of the tumblers. it would still be sweet just to drive it though.

really? some one gave me a troll, I dont think that person has really read my other posts. I can't wait for this movie and i am pumped about it. It is going to be one of the best Comic book movies ever I think. but what ever. WHoever it was broke my troll Cherry so its cool. Also I would have thought my all caps post could have been seen as being somewhat sarcastic but maybe i am wrong, its hard to tell in type what a persons tone is.

I think this scene is connected with the one that had all the pics from a month or 2 ago with the tumber getting blown up and falling through the road, and with catwoman on the run. I am guessing they are either reshooting or just shooting different sequence to it. It looks like it would fit seeing as there are still 3 tumblers, its light outside and catwoman is coming by on the bat
pod.

@nailbiter, like i said, i dont really care, its cool, I probably deserved it so what evs, you are my cherry poppin daddy! Ha. and like strange said, it is cool to actually see these pics. I was just kind of commenting on how many different articles from this shot have come up , but you are right, most of the shots are different.

Does any1 else think this is the same scene they where shooting a month or 2 ago? This scene leads into the tumbler chase and blow ups, and the catwoman chase or escape, or whatever. Maybe this is where she steals the batpod. Or do you guys think it is completely different scene? It isn't uncommon in big budget films to shoot the opening and closing of larger scenes at completely different times. Just because of scheduling conflicts with actors and time frames. I definitely dont think it is the end fight scene because the 3 tumblers are still there.

@Batslam

Yeah It's so hard to say. I can't decide on just how big this scene will be. But yeah judging from the size of the Pittsburgh(hollar!) crowd and the one in NYC I imagine they have be the same thing.

Can't. Friggin'. Wait.

Also, Bane's mask may have been off putting at first but the more I see the more I like it.

Maybe these set photos ARE good for more than just spoiling.

I feel Banes voice will be edited. Banes voice is supposed to sound like Manny Ramirez on steroids. Latin/Caribbean accent, not the wheezing old man British accent we heard at Heinz Field (which probably was a cover up so we wont know what bane sounds like yet). And of course I could be wrong. Just looking forward to a crazy, good flick.
