It looks as that they changes Spidey's eye to look more similar to Raimi's.

anyone else notice that the big bold lettering on the front page totally covers up his black crotch? Apparently they don't want that being shown in hi-def :D

This suit is taken directly from the Marvel Knights extended retelling of the orgin story. It is an early version of his suit in that series. How many times does it need to be posted before it sinks in with you guys?!!

It may not be a version you approve of, but it is taken directly from the pages of a Spider-Man series. You would think as Spidey fans (that many of you haters claim to be), that you would be more concerned that they nail the character of Parker/ Spidey. Y'know, the character which Rami failed to completely capture? However, it seems though you all are more concerned with his costume. Is it his costume that you're mostly a fan of? Is it a costume that you have read about all these years? If they nail the character in a good story, isn't that what matters? Maybe you are not a real fan of Spider-Man at all.

And for those who dredge on and on about the black crotch, it's for lighting purposes!!! It will cause his crotch area to look shaded when lit properly, therefore masking any buldge. You would think the general membership of a sight about movies would have figured that out.

@Scorpion

Dude, you have issues. First of, for a self proclaimed homophobe, you certainly write about gay shit an awful lot.

Second, all the guy said was he has seen guys at his school with hair like that and that set you off to write that responce?

Lastly, you of all people shouldn't be calling out anyone for being gay as 90% of your comments sound like they were written by an 8 year old girl, the majority of which have ended with 'Barf!!!'. An exclamation I don't think I've ever even heard from a man, let alone a heterosexual one.

It looks like the Manga Spider-Man suit to me, down to the sneakers. Speaking of the sneakers, Spidey also reminds me of Captain Amazing from Mystery Men with his Nike Endorsement.

Lol now your calling me gay, my wife and I had a good laugh at that one. Your issues seem to run deeper than i thought. No need to get so uptight Scorpion, I was just trying to help you out by drawing attention to your latent homosexuality. If it helps in your inner struggle to lash out than that's great, I hope you can come to terms with your self loathing man love. Just please understand that it's not my fault the nude dudes in the gym shower make your balls tingle, or the fact you liked the taste of uncle Jim's late night lollipop.

Blitzed - 12/20/2011, 11:23 AM
LOL adult discourse?! Are you kidding me? You end nearly every comment with 'Barf!!' and 'The Amazing Spider-Pussy" ranting about gay shit; paranoid that everyone is a homo. You've got some deep seeded issues dude.
Blitzed
Blitzed - 12/20/2011, 11:36 AM
As well Scorpion, if you were fully literate, you could see that I never called you a homophobe. I was simply referring to how you have continuously made homo references in past Spidey threads. I just found it ironic that for someone who confesses to be so against anything gay, you sure comment a lot about it. I just think you are fighting an inner strungle with your closet homosexuality and thought you should stop directing your self loathing anger on anyone interested in the ASM reboot. I doubt youve ever seen a pussy in real life and i dont think you plan too. I think you rock the cock and then cut yourself over it while crying in the shower.
Blitzed
Blitzed - 12/20/2011, 11:41 AM
lol Now your correcting my spelling in an internet comment typed on an iphone? You didnt want to end that comment with "Barf!'? I can see how ridiculous that would be after saying someone has the intellect of a 9 year old.
