These great pieces of fan art were posted on the Ron Paul forum tonight and I had to share them. In a lot of ways the depiction of Ron Paul as Batman fighting evil villains like Two-Face and The Joker are sadly more accurate than most people care to think about.
To his supporters, Ron Paul has been the symbol of true liberty and speaker of truth, not like what dribbles out of the mouths of most other politicians like so much filler. The artist obviously sees Ron Paul as someone who battles a corrupt government and a bias media much like Batman battling the ills of Gotham. And like Batman, Ron Paul is seen as incorruptible, a symbol of hope. Of course, Paul has his detractors. A lot of people think he is unelectable because of his stance on the legalization of drugs and an isolationist foreign policy that dismisses Iran's attempts at gaining nuclear weapons. Would Batman put up with Ahmadinejad? Probably not.
