FAN ART: Two Artists Take On Nolan's Bane, Catwoman, & Batman

While we wait patiently for new images or new information to be revealed for The Dark Knight Rises, I thought we all might enjoy two different artists interpretation of Christopher Nolan's Scarecrow, Bane, and Catwoman.

Ben Deguzman should be familiar to us, as he is the artist that has created the mash-up illustrations of NBC's Community cast with Street Fighter and Batman heroes and villains. To view those pieces of artwork and whatever else Ben has in his gallery click

While Mr. Hipp is also no stranger to our site as several of his images have been posted here throughout the years. If you'd like to see more of his fabulous artwork click here.

…AND YOUR ENEMIES CLOSER.

I like the last one. It's what just about everyone in the theater said way back when the first teaser trailer came out. :P

Actually, Ra's' sword isn't great. That could use more detail. Other than that... sh'bang.

I find it funny how some people can claim that bane is small when in fact most of them are probably out of shape anyway. also, are you going to measure bane every time he shows up on screen just to keep on complaining?

@Batfan

More importantly, people are judging the portrayal of Bane in the MOVIE through their observations of out-of-context still photos. I mean, really... you don't think Nolan's cinematography can make Bane LOOK bigger? They made Elijah Wood tiny for 3 LOTR movies... Also, he may transform at some point. We don't know. I wonder how many more times I'll hafta remind people that they haven't seen the movie yet... Sigh.

I wonder if Alfred's ever gonna tell Bruce what the letter from Rachel said. Like maybe he'll still be fixated on her eight years later and Alfred will be like look enoughs enough and then boom the next day dude gets snapped by Bane. Maybe not.

Also sometimes I wonder if maybe the rise chanting is for Ras and not Bane. Rising from the Laz pits. Again probably not but a theory nonetheless.

No matter who draws him, or what the angle is, the Nolan Bane looks incredibly stupid. Bring on the reboot.
