Neither Nolan or Whedon handle the marketing department. They have NO say in what toys will be made. Anybody who says TDKR wouldn't release such and such a toy, needs to just shut up. WB will release any product they think they can make money off of.

Actually seeing how some parents won't take their kids to see The Dark Knight Rises after The Dark Knight, I would expect TDKR to over saturate the toy market so they can eek out a little more scratch from their film. Even though I know they won't. If there is one thing Disney does best, it is...

Bobble heads? Seriously? I need A LOT more from TDKR right now.. how bout some real pics from the film, actual toys, another trailer?!

Somethings gotta give yo! This is ridiculous, I remember by this time when TDK was about to come out we were chest deep in marketing! Say what you will, but viral campaigns are the balls.. I want to 'join' the league of shadows or help the gotham post figure out. Where batman/bruce wayne is hiding!! Ugh! Such a wasted opportunity on WB's part! (Much like the ENTIRE DC CINEMATIC UNIVERSE!!!)

That is all...

This is the stuff for littl kids, I remember when TDK came out they brought out some book for the TDK that was written for 4+ year olds. I also remember seeing action figures in stores and so on. Its just an easy way to make more money for Warner Brothers. The Avengers has this stuff, TDKR has this stuff, TASM has this stuff, its all part of marketing scheme. All I care about is the film...oh and the soundtrack, kind of mandatory that I get that since i own Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
