After the public outcry and fans hate mail Marvel have received, when Avengers Earth Mightiest heroes was rumored, then confirmed to be ending,and replaced with a new show, it now seems that the studio is really answering Fan's request. Man of Action(Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joseph Kelly, and Steven T. Seagle), who have recently been revealed as the Executive producers for the upcoming show, confirmed, at the New York comic con, that next year's Avengers Assemble will animated series be a true continuation to the, currently ending, Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

From Man Of Action: “It will continue much of what the movie started, it’ll be slightly different from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. It’s really going to focus on the core characters… but it is not some kind of drastic change from Earth’s Mightiest Heroes into Marvel’s Avengers Assemble. Everything that’s established in [Earth’s Mightiest Heroes] and just running from that point on. It’s like Bendis’ Avengers going into Marvel NOW! Avengers… Everything that happened in Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, we’re going to keep consistency from that, to the new show.”

Man of action also commented on what style and quality of animation we can expect from the upcoming show: “Marvel, with the success of the movie, is really focused in on this show, making sure that everything in it is top-notch. It’s really going to be a remarkably different type of animation than what you’ve seen earlier coming out of any Marvel property.”

It seems, for now, that, the excellent, Avengers Earths Mightiest heroes has not been cancelled as originally feared, but is evolving to something, hopefully, even better.

The first shot of an issue with Enchantress should give away if this is true or not

Similar to the transition between batman the animated series and batman gotham knights although that only changed charcater designs. I hope this show has story arcs like emh,ultimate spiderman should as well in season 2.

@TelaVizion

"4th wall breaking like the New Hulk Series"

You don't know that. Just because Agent X says it doesn't mean it's true.

P.S. There have been more and more contradictions to his rumors recently. Take that as you may. :)

They replaced ALL the voice actors except for the Hulk's that doesn't feel like a continuation to me.

Psyboy, we know they can animate well as evidenced in ultimate spiderman. Its colour palette and character designs which they need to improve with their shows. From the teaser image i have high hopes for the look of the show at least.

Are people using the term animation to describe the way the characters look or have they seen footage?

Yeah, but didn't the producers of The Amazing Spider-Man confirm that it was not a reboot and takes place within the continuity of the Raimi films? Because they lied about that, now, didn't they?

Yeah right, and MarvelNow isn't a reboot even though nearly every single title and character undergoes mandated significant change.

Whatever. Play with words all you like but you can't polish a terd.

Yeah surrreeeeee! Until you come to an episode where your ideas dont fit in with Earth's Mightiest Heroes continuity and you completely ignore EMH then. I really hope Im proved wrong

And another thing, are they going to explain where Black Panther, Yellowjacket, Wasp, Ms Marvel & Vision have disappeared to?

I will wait and see if this show matches the quality of EMH (Avengers Assemble already seems to be beating EMH in quality of animation) but I will be waiting to be impressed. If it is anything like Ultimate Spider-Man, I will immediately stop watching it

And this finally explains why the awesome Josh Keaton was replaced by the lesser Drake Bell in EMH, because they probably want Ultimate Spider-Man to tie into the new Avengers show too, which makes a big problem because Ultimate Spider-Man is gonna be complicated to put into continuity with EMH

repulse93 & Darkspark
Exactly, why the hell did they change an already brilliant voice cast? As I said before, it was probably to fit it in with the voice cast of Ultimate Spider-Man! Because its the same Cap, Thor & Iron Man voice actors from Ultimate Spider-Man, its all about Jeph Loeb getting his own damn way, with no respect for what came before. They could have at least kept the voice actors of Black Widow, Hawkeye & Falcon, they have never been in Ultimate Spider-Man, damn Loeb & Man of Action!

@niknik

Thats a silly example, of course Marvel Now isnt a reboot, part of it clearly deals with the aftermath of Avengers Vs X-Men. I compare Marvel Now to each new Doctor in Doctor Who, it will be a new jumping on point for new fans without having to know the previous continuity but it will still be all in the same continuity

if they wanted a continuation from Emh? then why not just keep making emh? this is a load of bullshit, this is from the same guys who said, oh you hate ultimate spider-man? well stop whining its a kids show, they don't care about fans at all, they can take there "promises" and shove it up the farthest part of there ass

I say they're just saying this to ease the fans, if it's just a continuation, why make another animated series at all?
