Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past has become the second most successful film in Fox's franchise, passing Singer's X2: X-Men United. The film has now made $216 million (opening with $90 million) worldwide, beating X2 by $2 million.
Last month's film is seen by many fans and critics as the best yet and has reinstated Fox's trust. The film still hasn't matched up to 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand which made a total of $234 million, however it looks like the film will reach that figure before it ends it's run in theaters.
