CONSTANTINE Not Cancelled Yet, NBC To Decide On Season 2 In May!

CONSTANTINE Not Cancelled Yet, NBC To Decide On Season 2 In May!

It turns out the TV series Constantine, much like the character John Constantine himself, doesn’t quit when things look bleak. The creator of Constantine, took to Twitter to answer a fan’s question regarding the future of the show. His answer is sure to give fans some much needed hope!

Here is the tweet:

Daniel Cerone says Constantine is not yet cancelled. In May, he will pitch season two to NBC. From there, NBC will decide whether to renew the show for a second season, or cancel it. Keep in mind, if NBC does decide to cancel the show, it could always be moved to another network. I’m thinking AMC would be a good fit for Constantine’s brand of supernatural antics.

The showrunner also says if fans want to increase the chances of NBC renewing the show, NBC needs to know there is demand for Constantine. So in other words, tell your friends about the show, stream season one, get the word out pretty much!

That last bit about the last 5 episodes only being available on NBC or HULU is messed-up. How are NBC supposed to gauge interest worldwide if they only look at the domestic-market. International viewers outside of U.S don't even have NBC and only the internet-savvy can wrangle HULU. Not doing themeselves any favours are they!?.... or maybe that's just how they want it as to claim theres no interest.
SyFy, Amazon or Netflix - buy Constantine off of these clowns and take it to better heights.

I was reading about this the other day and it sounds like the producer is trying to get the whole season of Constantine on Hulu. The reason why is because those views count too. From what I've heard if there is a season 2 it is going to be more influenced by the comic, so that's always a good thing. Hopefully there will be another season.

Jared Leto speaks:

“Do you mind if I eat a little? I’m trying to gain a lot of weight. It means I have to eat every couple of hours — and I’m terrible at eating a lot,” Jared shared.

He added, “The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character — that’s what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right? [He's] this beautiful disaster of a character — what a big challenge.”

Though that all depends on when in May. All I was thinking was that we'd have to wait until after May to get an answer...

Hey NBC, you think making the series available to view online might stoke interest, maybe? "Make sure no one can watch old episodes, that'll get 'em to watch the new ones, derpaderpaderp."
