I probably sound like a broken record but I'll say it again. For my money, X-Men: Legacy is one of the most well-written and 'entertainingly offbeat' mainstream comic books on the market. Si Spurrier is absolute killing it. If you haven't been reading the series because the central character is Legion, not exactly what you would call a fan favorite, I'll stake my reputation on the claim that after the first five issues you'll be asking yourself why no one has sought to utilize Legion in more stories. Below, you can check out a preview for issue 12, available at your local comic book store this Wednesday.
"Charles Xavier's mutant son David Haller would be nearly omnipotent if he could lock his multiple personalities away in an effective mental prison. But that task seems insurmountable in the wake of his father's untimely death. Now, David fights to keep his mind and powers under control as he works to uphold his father's legacy."

• To shut down the anti-mutant science cult known as “Darwyn’s Martyrs,” Legion is on the verge of making a tremendous sacrifice: forfeiting his mutant powers!
• Little does he know, his girlfriend, young X-Man Blindfold, is rushing to his aid…and she’s recruited her own ragtag team of X-Men to help her!
• And another thing Legion may not know? The mastermind behind Darwyn’s Martyrs may just be the villain in possession of his deceased father’s brain…(If you’re reading this, Legion: Watch out! It’s THE RED SKULL!)
