the movie was made in 1989, its not low quality, it was made in a different time smartass. And in all fairness, its more faithful to the origins than Nolans movies. We like this Batman the same way Star Wars fans like the old muppet using Star Wars movie with the bad acting and cheap fx. or may that was just what Star Wars was capable of usin at the time. hmmmmm.

@NextHero08
It's actually far less faithful than Nolan's in most every way. It's not a good Batman movie at all. The only thing they got right was the look of Gotham.

I really wish Heath Ledger would have been able to evolve his depiction of the Joker in a sequel to Nolans series.. There was soo much room left for development of his Joker character to keep him fresh & new for a further sequel.. We only got to see the beginning stages of his Joker, the beginning of his crimes & the beginning of his obsession with Batman.. I would have loved to have seen Ledgers Joker eventually using the "Acid Flower", Electrical stun gun Hand Buzzer & maybe a Fadora Hat.. Im not sure if all these typical Joker accessories would have fit Ledgers Joker character, but he had a slightly sick sense of humor and like I said, his character would have evolved mentality after experiencing his first encounter with Batman & being locked up in arkham for the first time...
