Eliza Dushku on Iron Man 2

Back in February, Eliza Dushku made a public plea to play the Black Widow. So, 8 months later with Scarjo in the role, what happened?


"I think it went straight to Miss Thing," laughed the actress. "I get it, you know? I get it. She's pretty fierce".

Asked whether she ever heard anything from the studio after making her public call to fans, Dushku said she got the impression that things had already been settled behind the scenes at that point.

"I had read about it—I'm a huge Robert Downey Jr. fan and also Jon Fareau—but I think they had it packaged up at the studio."

Im also happy with Scarjo but if Dushku would be willing to use a Russian accent then Id kick Scarjos' ass right off of Iron Man 2, lol!

I think Dushku would have been better. Ever since Buffy she has been one of my favorite actresses.

I also think she would have done a better russian accent than Scarjo.

Yeah, im' with everybody but LEEE! Dushku is way more along the lines of Natalia than Scarjo. And did you guys notice how much more beautifull Eliza has gotten since "True Lies"??? Goddamn was she ever a freakin' DOG in that movie LOL :P Glad she "hottened" up ;)

Elisha would have been fantastic as Widow, but naturally, the role went to holywoods 'it' girl Scarjo. Dont mind her at all, but still I dont think anyone was surprised when she landed the role. At least the pics of her are encouraging. Now lets hope she gets the accent down...
