FAN CAST: The Inhumans

Here are my choices for who should play The Inhumans in a movie based on the characters!

I know that The Inhumans arent exactly the most popular of Marvel's characters but I think that their adventures could very easily make one hell of a movie! If we're ever lucky enough to see Marvel Studios get the rights back from Fox for the Fantastic Four characters, just imagine how brilliant it would be to see an FF movie cross over into an Inhumans one! Wentworth Miller as Black Bolt

Black Bolt


Leader of the Inhumans, Black Bolt joined the Illuminati to stop major problems. He has a super sonic scream that can destroy almost anything, even if he whispers..

Christina Hendricks as Medusa

Medusa

Medusa is the queen of Inhumans and is also married to Black Bolt, the king of Inhumans. Medusa is best known for her long, thick head of hair, which she can use to her aid.

Alyson Hannigan as Crystal

Crystal

Crystal is a member of the Inhumans and the younger sister of Medusa, Queen of the Inhumans. She has the power to manipulate the four basic elements due to being exposed to Terrigen Mist.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Gorgon

Gorgon

Exposed to Terrigen Mist when he was an infant, he has developed strong goat-like hooves which pack a punch when needed.

Jake Gyllenhall as Karnak

Karnak

Martial Arts trained member of the Royal Family of the Inhumans.

Brendan Fehr as Triton

Triton

A member of the Inhuman Royal Family, Triton was exposed to the Terrigen Mist when he was a year old and emerged with a number of aquatic mutations.

Gerard Butler as Maximus the Mad

Maximus

Maximus gained his powers through exposure to Terrigen Mist when he was a child, like his cousin, Medusa. However he plots against the Inhumans rather than help.

Oh, and lets not forget Lockjaw!!! I think that CGI would be the best option for this particular Inhuman!

Lockjaw

An Inhuman transformed into the shape of a dog by the Terrigen Mists which also gave abilities of incredible teleportaton feats.

Only because he did the voice in the old FF cartoon, I'd love to see Michael Dorn play Gorgon.

Bamf7: I've never done so many casts in such a short space of time but theres no news, im bored of reading about costumes (even though they're awesome) and so I've had plenty of time to make them, lol! Keep your eyes peeled because I'm working on an Alpha Flight one at the moment! :)

I like the cast Josh...I for one enjoy the comic books so if handled appropriately, this movie could rock. I definitely like your cast for black bolt and his queen. I wonder if this film could ever see the light of day if negotiations between the two studios take place because let's be honest, they're creating movies soon for the most minor/crappy characters...why not this?
I don't check out fan cast but I'll begin doing so now after viewing my first one here

Love it..
But wentworth miller doesn't have the 'Intimidating' look that black bolt has.
He doesn't look powerful enough to wield such power, and i don't know anyone else who could fit the role.

Whispers68: Thanks bud! They're actually my two favourite choices as well! I originally wanted to see Miller as Captain America a while back but I think he'd be much better as a character like Black Bolt - strong, silent and an intense stare - everything Miller's character had in Prison Break! Imglad I've got you to start checking out 'Fan Fic' - you'll find some great stuff here! :)

FifthSun & Anil Rickly: Thanks guys but I have to disagree with you about Miller! I think that he has just the right intense stare and on screen presence for Black Bolt! Plus he look the part 110% IMO!

I have to say I'm not a big fan of this casting. The Inhumans are some of my favorite characters, so for me they've always been difficult to cast.

For Medusa I liked Hendricks in Firefly, but can't see her as the queen of the Inhumans. To me she doesn't have that regalness to fill the role Black Bolt's wife. I would kind of liek to see Beckinsale be Medusa. Granted she is not a redhead, but she is gorgeous, can act, and has that way about her that makes her seem like she is important or royalty. I see her as someone who could be strong and forceful when her King cannot.

For Gorgon I would actually be happy with Morgan, but Butler was always my first choice.

With Triton I have always been hardwired to instantly think Doug Jones. Although it is because of Hellboy and pretty similar I would still love to have Jones as Triton.

Lockjaw I agree go with CGI

Karnak has always been a hard casting for me, but I know I don't like Gyllenhall. To me he just doesn't scream intectual like Karnak does.

I had a name for a girl to play Crystal a while back but have forgotten it. I'll try to find it, but either way I don't like Hannigan for the role. I find her annoying, somewhat whiny, and kind of geeky; somehting that doesn't scream Crystal at all.

For the last two, Black Bolt and Maximus, I'm not sure. Like Anil just said, I think Pheonix would actually make a really good Maximus, similar to his role in Gladiator. I absolutely hate Wentworth as Black Bolt. While on Prison Break he has that similar quiet/calm disposition I can't see him as king of the Inhumans. He seems to young, and doesn't emit that strength and power that Black Bolt should. Something my minds always gone back to, and I honestly don't know that it's a good casting myself, but I think casting Mark and Donnie Walhberg as Black Bolt and Maximus respectively could be interesting. I could see Donnie as Maximus, but not sure about Marky Mark lol.

Im not feeling your CRYSTAL pic dude! WILLOW dont cut it!

But i like the rest, minus BLACK BOLT, in the movie he's got to wear the mask at all times and not speak, so its a perfect part for an UNKNOWN. Plus didnt you cast MILLER as GALACTUS? No point what so ever of a face for the part of BLACK BOLT?

JDM you've cast him 6 or 7 times lol???? But i can see him in this role the best!

All the rest sweet castings @ JOSH kudos! I even like BLACK BOLT sorta though he's my USAGENT! ; D

I like most of your picks but Im not a fan of either Mark or Donnie Walhberg so I dont think Id want to see either of them in the roles! Thanks for the feedback though man!

LEE: (Im here, lol!) Thanks man! Yeah, I wanted to go with Isla Fisher but I chose her already as her as Clea in my Dr. Strange cast so I went with my second pick - I never actually got into Buffy so I dont really think of her as Willow, lol!

I did indeed cast Miller as Galactus but I really dont remember why because he would not be right for that character...I get you're point about casting an unknown but theres still a lot that I think an actor would have to bring a lot to the role even though he doesnt talk, lol! And I cant think of anyone better than Miller for that!

I think I've probably suggested JDM for that many roles, lol, but I think I've only actually cast him in maybe one or two of my previous fan casts as either Hercules or Ares I think! :D

Lol @ JOSH heh heh. Well you do have good points, and ive got to admit he does have that thing for BLACK BOLT, but i love him more as US Agent lol, though i suppose if he keeps the mask on and not talk then he can be both! ; D

Yeah trust me JOSH, if you've watch BUFFY for years an years all you'd see is WILLOW there too and trust me most will agree, FISHER is a much more perfect choice for CRYSTAL that her, i like that idea man! ; )

Okay maybe i was over exzaderating (spell check lol), about JMB heh heh, nah i do see him as this character the most plus the INHUMANS would need quality leads more as most ppl hav'nt heard of this team, he's perfect for this, good call man!

josh, well when I think of Donnie I alwasy see him as that strung out guy from the Sixth Sense, and for such a small scene as it was it always sticks out a lot for me. While Maximus might not be quite as depressing, I think Donnie could pull off the role.

And like I said, I'm not real sure about Mark either lol. To tell the truth I'd probably rather go with an unknown because there is no one I can really think of that I would like as Black Bolt. Although, I am a little biased because he is my favorite character adn I don't want to see him get [frick]ed up lol.

My favorite is Miller as Black Bolt, he would be excellent in that role.

LEE: Thanks, JDM is one of those actors who's perfect for a lot of roles in comic book movies! I have seen a few episodes of Buffy and Angel and liked both of them - I'll have to get the whole series' boxsets sometime soon! Miller as US Agent huh? Yeah - that could work! Nice idea!!!

SlaughterHouse: Lol, I guessed by your avatar that you're an Inhuman fan! :D Thinking about it Donnie could actually be a decent choice for Maximus - I actually saw Saw II for the first time the other day and Donnie was good in that...I think its Mark as Black Bolt that Im not sure about more than anything else! Whoever plays him, lets just hope that Black Bolt makes it to the big screen someday soon!

I honestly don't know what I would do if an Inhumans movie was announced. I would probably squeal like a little girl lol... especailly if it was anything like the Jenkins/Lee run.

And if it makes you feel better, Marky Mark wouldn't have many lines! lol.
