FAN CAST: The Ultimates

Whos the McPatlan dude? The rest are cool, except maybe Quinto as Quicksilver..love Murphy as banner.

McPartlin is in Chuck - he's pretty unknown and hasnt been in a lot else I dont think but the guy is actually a great actor from what I've seen of him so far! He also has the exact right kind of voice you could imagine Cap shouting "Avengers Assemble" with, lol!

I think Murphy would be great at portraying the Ultimate version of Bruce - his performances in Batman Begins and Sunshine mixed together would be the perfect version of the character in a movie IMO! :)

Oh yea, The more I see that INVICTUS trailer, the more I think MATT DAMON will be cast as CAP! Blonde hair, blue eyes, built, and HUGE box office draw. You know the execs must be thinkin the same thing. I'm not adamantly against it, but i'd much rather have JENSEN ACKLES for CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!!

Talontd: Yeah, the internet is an amazing thing - I'm from Wales to be specific, lol! I have actually got an old bluetooth headset lying around somewhere and I've never thought of using it! I'll have to hunt it down!

Im not sure why but I do better on standard or team deathmatches - I kept dying in that mode we were playing, lol! To be honest, I've never been great at FPS games online anyway as Im much better at a games like Uncharted 2 online for some reason! I was starting to really get into it though and was actually winning matches, lol, and levelling up quickly until I got AC II (I agree with you - the free running was little fiddly especially in comparison to InFamous who handled that pretty perfectly!)

Oh and hell yeah to Jensen Ackles for Captain America!!! :D Matt Damon is definitely in my top 5 choices of who should play Cap - I'll have to check that trailer out!

ThalesNJ & dellamorte1872: I have to disagree guys! I cant see Michael C. Hall as Pym at all - I'm a massive fan of Dexter (its my favourite TV show) and I've always envisioned him as being the best choice to play Dardevil!



Kyos: Thanks dude! :) Im glad you mention Brolin - I wasnt sure to begin with but like Murphy, Swan and Kurylenko I think he's the right choice for this version of the characters!

I've only watched the first four episodes of Chuck but I think that "Captain Awesome", lol, is still in the show with a third season starting next year apparently!

Ryan McPartlin,Zachary Quinto,Serinda Swan and Jeremy Renner are the only castings I agree with the others are not that good

LEE: Thanks man! :) And yeah, its kind of annoying when you get bad comments because people forget this isnt casting for the regular MU characters!

McPartlin is actually in Chuck! He plays "Captain Amesome" (Chuck's sisters boyfriend!) When I saw/heard him in that show I thought he'd make a decent Cap but then I remembered Marvel thought about casting Levi as Fandral so Im guessing they probably saw McPartlin and as he looks the part and as he's relatively unknown he could be just what they're looking for!

I did cast Sam Jackson as Fury but thought that was stupid as he's already been cast as the regular Marvel movie universe Fury! I'll keep looking and add one later today or tomorrow!

Hurt Locker isnt out here until Dec 28th so I've pre-ordered the blu-ray! I think he's a decent Hawkeye choice from the stuff I have seen of him but if Ackles doesnt get the role of Cap then I'd like to see him as Hawkeye!

I'm doing good, my Superman 2 story is half done, and I am getting pics ready for my SUPERMAN story, expect it over the next few days, maybe tonight if I can haul ass!

THEHAWK: Good to see you back dude! :) That is high praise indeed, I really appreciate it man!! Still looking forward to your Superman story - I re-read your Avengers story a few days ago because with all of the recent Thor and Iron Man 2 news coming in I'm getting more and more get psyched up for The Avengers, lol! It was even better a second time!

PETE: Thanks bud! That is the guy off Chuck, yeah! As I've said somewhere above I think he has a lot of the right qualities Marvel may be looking for when they cast Captain America! After seeing Brolin in 'W' I think he could pull off the Ultimate Tony Stark brilliantly and I think Skarsgard is pretty well built and I reckon he could easily bulk up if he had to! Quinto would make an excellent Quicksilver and a pile of other aloof Marvel characters like Namor and Northstar as well IMO! His stuff in Heroes and Star Trek showed that I think! That is indeed Zatanna and you're right, she is amazingly hot and she'd make a great Scarlet Witch in either an Ultimate or regular 616 adaptation I think! :)

Great picks Josh!!!! I just don't like your picks for Cap or Iron Man... Brolin's a little too old to Ultimate Iron Man, and McPartlin is good on Chuck, but I can't see him for Cap... Otherwise great picks man!!!!

I saw this a while ago but i didnt comment it since so many people had already(i know stupid logic right). Its really good i like it. I used to be a big fan of the Ultimates and it looks like The Avengers movie will be closely influence by it seeing as how they used ultimate Furry and Hulk seems to be looking like a problem they have to face. I doubt Quicksilver will be in it though.

I like the original picks too. its better than seeing the same thing over and over again.

@BatmanKnight. The real mainstream Avengers fought Hulk in their first appearance as well. The Ultimates were just updated rehashings of the Avengers founding and first battle with Hulk. But I do love the way Millar made it to where the government was brinign them together, I liked that. That was one of the few Ultimates ideas I added into my Avengers story so very long ago.
