Carol Danvers had always loved the idea of flying, and after she graduated from high school she joined the United States Air Force. She became a skilled jet pilot and distinguished herself enough that she was recruited into the CIA. Carol often teamed up with fellow agent Michael Rossi, and the two became romantically involved.

Carol's later became NASA's head of security. While on the job she suddenly found herself witness to an epic battle between the Kree super-hero Mar-Vell (aka Captain Marvel) and his arch-enemy Yon-Rogg. During the conflict Carol was accidentally knocked into an otherworldly device called the Kree psyche-magnitron, which had the power to turn thoughts into reality. Carol's dreams of flight and her envy of Mar-Vell's powers caused her DNA to be transformed into that of a superhuman member of the Kree race.

Hey, everyone laughed when i cast LEO as CAPTAIN MARVEL months ago lol, now he's being used! : P

Still he woulsd make a good CAP (America) too!

Man three MS MARVEL castings???

I knew youd star using Yvoone a lot now youve been watching CHUCK, cant see her in the big MARVEL role only a lesser one, because shes a perfect BLACK CANARY!!

Can deal with BRETT as SPIDEY though i personally like JAKE better up there.

Anyways kudos putting ALI LARTER up there, she is MS MARVEL, KATHERINE HEIGL is best suited for the younger MS MARVEL II (MOONSTONE), she can play evil really good and ALI should play good as shes bad in HEROES, so its a change!

LEE: Thanks! I cant say I remember you casting Leo as Captain Marvel but I think he's perfect for the role! He wouldnt be my top choice to play Captain America but after brilliant performances in movies like The Departed and Blood Diamond I cant say I'd be too upset if he were cast as Cap!

I cast three Ms. Marvel's, a) because her supporting cast of characters is both pretty small and not all that intersting, lol and b) because I think all three would bring something great to the role! However, as far a Strahovski goes, I really dont care about Black Canary (because I dont really care about DC, hehe!!) so I'd love to see her in a big Marvel role playing a character like Ms. Marvel!

Again though, I have to disagree and say that Larter is better suited to the Moonstone version of Ms. Marvel! :)

Cool, Josh. I like Yvonne Strahovski for Ms Marvel out of the three. Good choice for Wonderman too. I'd like to see both those characters brought into the Avengers franchise at some point. Marvel lacks a real strong female lead and I've always felt if they promoted Carol Danvers properly, she could surpass even Wonder Woman in popularity. Screw DC!! lol

Anil Rickly: I like Sturgess for Rick Jones but I'm glad you like Strahovski for Ms. Marvel - though I've always supported Heigl for the role, Yvonne is the only one who I think could effectively pull off the military side of Carol as well as the ass-kicking superhero side!

OZY: Great! I look forward to it!! I've only done one videogame cast (Dead Space) but I liked the voiceover cast so much I ended up casting most of them in the same roles, lol!

Avengersrule: Thanks man! :) I'm really pleased to see yet another supporter of my Strahovski choice! Boreanez has been my #1 pick for Wonder Man for a long time now - a lot of people still think of him as just being Angel but his performance in Bones each week shows what an awesome actor he is! And hell yeah, the two of them definitely need to find their way into The Avengers movie franchise at some point!

Great cast Josh!

I pick Yvonne for Ms Marvel as #1 choice.

Leo can be Capt. Marvel but he will have to bulk up.

I like Boreanaz for Wonder Man

Jake is a very good actor-Shouldn't he be cast as a much bigger character? Just wondering or are each of your casts independent of other ones? I think he would merit something better for the Fan-Castic 4 cast

I say Charlize Theron for Ms. Marvel, but I'd take Strahovsky out of those 3 you have up there Josh.

Heigl doesn't seem bad-ass or tough enough to be Ms. Marvel.

I agree with you that Larter should be Moonstone though. Moonstone falls within her acting range I think.

But of these three here Josh@ I like Yvonne the best!
She has a military feel and she's got nice enough
boobies.

Ms. Marvel is quite well endowed and should not be
played by a woman with a small chest Like Ali Larter!

Ali's good for Moonstone though!

I don't like Decaprio for any Superhero. He's too
skinny and has a head like a pumpkin! He's a
fantastic actor but Cap Mar-vel would be better played
by someone more substantive in body like Alexander

I think Ali Larter is perfect for the role. But i also think Ali Larter can play an excelent and also perfect casting as EMMA FROST. In my opinion Ali Lartes can make wathever she wants, but please do it in a sexy dress.

DogsOfWar: Thanks bud! To be honest, I do all of my casts as seperate entities (which is why you'll sometimes see me using the same actors - because they're perfect for numerous roles!) Gyllenhaal would make a great Spider-Man as well as few other roles so I agree that he's deserving of a bigger part...however, I do think he'd be great in this role as well!

TYLER: Great man, I'm glad to see you like the Strahovski pick - I know a lot of you guys think she's perfect for Black Canary but although I've cast her as both Supergirl and Valkyrie in the past, this role is the one she's most perfect for IMO!

DDD: Thanks a lot man! :) I'm really pleased that you like my choices, especially Strahovski for Ms. Marvel!! I had never considered her for the role until making this cast but I think that she is perfect for the role! I have to agree that Nichols wouldnt really be my ideal choice for Rogue but I honestly dont know who else I'd cast in the role! Alexander

IRONRED: I actually agree with you about Emma Frost - in fact, I cast Larter in that role back in my X-Men 4 Fan Cast! That part, I think she's perfect for!

Yvonne is perfect for Ms. Marvel. I'd stick with Tobey for Spider-Man and I would have picked Alexa Davalos for Rogue. Alexa played a woman with a deadly electric touch in 3 episodes of Angel so she wore clothes to help protect others from her touch. So she's been on the same playing field as Rogue. She'd be perfect for her.

I say Charlize Theron for Ms. Marvel. I love Ms. Marvel and I think she deserves an A-list actress who can act well- Charlize Theron! I thought she did well in Hancock, and her powers there were similar to Ms. Marvel's, so why not her? Plus you need someone who can stand toe-to-toe with and gain the respect of the guys to lead sometimes, and I see her doing that.
Ali Larter for Moonstone (she can be creepy at times).
And I dont understand what some of you see in Katherine Heigl, she's too sweet and nice.
Yvonne Strahovski doesnt have the curves IMO. And I'd like to see some curves on me Ms. Marvel. ;) Plus, I'd like to see a solo movie on her, and I don't think Yvonne Strahovski can hold a hit movie by herself. IMO

I would NEVER ever disagree with ANY of the excellent cast choices suggested for Ms. Marvel (they're ALL excellent choices), and I'm SO not, but I came across an unknown actress (really unknown) that after some comparisons, I truly think deserves a real honest chance to have her name thrown in as a possibility.

Her name is Amelia Scott, and she REALLY fits the ENTIRE package (IMHO of course), but as she's unknown, the ONLY way to really judge for yourselves is to check out the MySpace page dedicated to the subject:

If you even slightly agree, it'd be a real loss to not at least try to give a shot to this unknown actress, especially as she really fits the bill as Ms. Marvel (again, IMHO).
