I love all of the villain choices, hate all the good guy choices, especially Mary Jane...Emma Roberts! Are you seroius.

No to Crawford, looks too wimpy for Harry and doesn't have the chops, Anton Yelchin is the man.

Don't know who your Gwen pick is.

No no no no to Roberts as MJ. She looks like she's still in middle school, and I've never been impressed by her acting.

Still not sold on McGinley as Norman.

Iffy about Baldwin as Ock, don't know if I'd buy him in the role, sort of like with McGinley.

And Paul Bettany for Chameleon with Fiennes as Norman.

The rest are very good, your best is Spidey. I was the one who first brought his name up in the reboot article.

great casting, even though a lot of people will disagree on your MJ Roberts would work for an Ultimate Spidey version because she isn't this sexy super model type girl, yes she is hot but she isn't super sexy or anything she is your typical girl next door hot.

I have to disagree on your Doc Ock though, I like Baldwin but MTL suggested Philip Seymor Hoffman in his fan-cast and I think that would be a very good choice, he looks the part and can definitely act the part, otherwise premo choices sir.

MULTI: Thanks! I cant see Crawford as Eddie Brock unless they plan on turning the character into a fellow high schools student!? Funnily enough, I considered casting Sisto as Scorpion! I actually never considered Remar for JJJ until tonight - however, I agree that he's perfect for the role! Its a pity you dont like my villain choices, but I'm happy with them all to be honest!

ThalesNJ: I'm saving her for the sequel to this cast that I'll at some point get around to making! I think it would be too soon to introduce her in this planned reboot...hopefully she'll make her way to the big screen someday though!

NightAvenger4: Thanks man! I'd like to see Purcell as Venom but I wanted to leave him and Carnage out of this cast as I'd prefer to see some of the classic villains instead!

venom001: Yeah, I'm serious! She's the right age, she has the right look (remember this is a high school version, not the supermodel one!) and is a decent actress! I'm glad you like my villain choice anyway!

DogsOfWar: Totally agree about using Gwen first - they'd be better off saving MJ for a second or third movie by introducing her as they did in the comic books! I just wanted to include her here because I'm guessing they probably will include her in some way! You're more than likely right about Campbell - just wishful thinking I guess, lol! Your Norman/Chameleon casting is something I'd be more than happy to see though! Oh, and Willard was in The OC - not a favourite show of mine but she's a great actress!

LEE: Thanks and you're right! I should have put some info down but I just didnt have the time because I've been watching Six Feet Under, lol! (only 3 more episodes to go!) I will update the cast in the morning though with that info so keep an eye out! :)

All of the (young) actors I chose are under 20 so I dont think any of them would have a problem pulling off a high school kid! Hell, Tom Welling was doing it when he was something like 25! Willa Holland as Spider-Girl is a great idea man!

LEE: Its pretty great man! To be honest, the whole of the fifth (and final season) feels a little tacked on - it could have ended with the fourth IMO but overall it was a a great series! You should definitely check it out if you can! I've still got Lost Season 2-5 on DVD to watch, not to mention S1-6 of The Sopranos! (which I've never seen before!) Anyway, I'm off to check out you cast now! :D

Don’t like Foster as Electro, he doesn’t look the part and I don’t know why he’s getting cast as a psychotic character all of a sudden, was he in a movie as a phyco did I miss something?!!? LOL

Still not a fan of Campbell as Mysterio, far to cheesy, Zachary Quinto is my choice. I think he’d make the character less silly.

Ralph Fiennes was my choice also.

Frogman: Yeah, thats actually probably the worst part about this reboot! ;( However, I think Remar would do a great job in the role!

Ryden: Thanks for your comment man! Well, Foster has played mentally unstable characters in Six Feet Under, My Name is Earl, 30 Days Of Night and 3:10 To Yuma so check any of those out, lol! Combining all of his performances in those shows and movies makes him the ideal choice for Electro in my eyes! :)

OZY: I dont think I even saw you Spider-Man fan cast so I cant give you credit for that idea sorry! :P Bad news about your fan casts though...have you contacted CBM about it?

That's reaching a bit. Tobey, for one, sounded uninterested in returning for another around the time of SM 3's release, as did Dunst, who sounded even worse. There were creative differences between Raimi and the studio. Raimi wanted to go one way, the studio wanted to go another way, it happens all the time. That definitely wouldn't be the reason for someone like JK from the previous cast not coming back, if offered the chance, I guarantee it.

JK Simmons will be back the fans demand it, and apparantly these people listen to us.

Josh i really like your pics for Gwen,Mj,Liz,aunt May. Glover fits and is a very talented actor but i find him too old. Your Norman seems to be jumped out from the comic book,but i prefer Dennis Quaid cause i think only 4 actors possesses that kind of diabolic smile which deserves for the role. And the other 3 are Michael Ironside,Willem of course,and Mr. jack Nicholson. Good job in any case

Great Cast Josh! One of my favorites, actually.

I (and a few others) have been on the "John McGinley as Norman Osborn" train for ages. Glad to see you got on board. And to those who are unsure about whether he would be able to pull off the role, go watch "My Lunch", a season 5 episode of [Scrubs]. His character runs the gamut of emotions and the last seen is very...strong...I guess you'd say. That should at least help show he has enough acting range to pull off the role.
