Although there would need to be a few tweaks to make this story work in the next Iron Man movie, I've (for the most part) based this cast off of the comic book. If you're not familiar with the story, just click HERE! I have included some small bits of information on how some of the characters fit into the story though for anyone who is wondering what the hell Leap-Frog is doing in this cast, lol!

Demon

Robert Downey Jr. As Tony Stark/Iron Man

Iron Man

Tony Stark, after being gravely injured and forced to build a devastating weapon, created a powerful suit of armour to free himself and protect the world as the Invincible Iron Man.

ALLIES

Annie Wersching as Bethany Cabe

After meeting at a party, she became romantically involved with Stark. Her love, support and friendship were instrumental in helping Stark to overcome his alcoholism.

Don Cheadle as War Machine

War Machine

War Machine is a heavier-armed version of Iron Man. The "Variable Threat Response Battle Suit" is often worn by James Rhodes. As often said... "it handles like a tractor".

Stark meets with the Avengers and agrees to their request that Iron Man temporarily step down as their leader as his alcoholism worsens. He asks for and receives hand-to-hand fight training from Captain America. He then meets with Scott Lang, the second Ant-Man, and asks him to sneak into the prison where Whiplash is being held to get information on Justin Hammer.

Ryan McPartlin as Captain America

Cap America

Injected with an experimental super-soldier serum during World War II, frail Steve Rogers became the exemplar of human physical perfection: Captain America.

Peter Krause as Ant-Man (Scott Lang)

Scott Lang

Scott Lang is the second Ant-Man. He is a member of the Avengers, and a short lived member of the Fantastic Four.

David Suchet as Jarvis

Jarvis

Butler to the Stark family, Jarvis went on to be the caretaker of the Avengers mansion and has laid his life on the line for them several times.

ENEMIES

A military tank hurled by Namor the Sub-Mariner through the air strikes the wing of a passenger plane carrying Tony Stark. Iron Man confronts and fights Namor, before it's revealed that the soldiers actually belong to the Roxxon Oil Corporation so the two team up to fight and defeat the soldiers.

Jason Behr as Namor the Sub-Mariner

Namor

Namor is the hybrid king of Atlantis. Both hero and sometimes aggressor to the surface world, Namor is strongest when in water and progressively weaker when outside of it.

Stark is visiting a casino with Bethany Cabe when Blizzard, Melter, and Whiplash arrive and attempt to rob the casino's vault. Stark slips away, dons his armor, and battles and defeats the villains. During the fight, he overhears a comment from Blizzard about "Hammer" wanting Iron Man kept alive.

Ewan Mcgregor as Blizzard

Blizzard

Blizzard is a long time enemy of Iron Man. He later turned over a new leaf and joined the Thunderbolts for redemption.

Wade Williams as Melter

Melter

Bruno Horgan is a former competitor of Anthony Stark. He became the Melter and is one Iron Man's deadliest foes.

Mickey Rourke as Whiplash

Whiplash

He desired a life of luxury and so became a professional criminal. With a costume and a sophisticated metal whip of his own design, he became Whiplash, an assassin for the criminal organization the Maggia.

After Stark is taken prisoner by Justin Hammer (the stories main villain) he eventually manages to escape when he attacks a guard. Hammer learns of Stark's escape and orders the supervillains employs (including Constrictor, Beetle, Man-Killer, Water Wizard, Discus, Stiletto, Porcupine, and Leap-Frog) to find him.

The supervillains find Stark, who has found his armor and suited up. Iron Man battles and defeats the villains, then goes after Hammer.

teabag: Thanks bud! :) Wow, really? So how much did that cost you? I'm guessing that a classic like that wasnt too cheap!

So, did that make you Demon with a Bottle! Ha Ha, thank you I'll be here all week ladies & gents, try the veal.

Good cast as always Josh. Like the Krause pick for Ant Man.

Man, did those villains get outdated or what? Leap Frog, Porcupine...? Dean Cain is inspired-B movie actor for B grade villain (maybe C grade)

teabag: Man, that's awesome dude! What other great classics do you have? (not that I'm thinking of finding out where you live and stealing them from you, lol!) ;)

DOGS: Lol, thanks man! I think that Krause would be a perfect fit for Scott Lang! (who I really wish wasnt dead because he was probably my favourite Ant-Man!)

Yeah, you wouldnt believe how hard it was to find pictures of a lot of those villains they're so out of date! Still, I'm sure that Jon Favreau could give them a 21st century update and actually make them look a lot less lame on the big screen! :P

georgia49th: Ouch! Thats what I call bad luck! I'm guessing that its probably worth a fair bit!

Whoaaa @ JOSH, way to knick my idea for IRON MAN 3 bro lol, been on about this DEMON IN THE BOTTLE for months!

Damn shoulda done a casting! : D

Nice cast, though i have no idea why CAP, NAMOR, ANT-MAN an many others are up there, too much for IRON MAN 3 dude!

DEAN CAIN is a joke one right??? Plz tell me it is lol? ; D

Love your CONTRICTOR, Though got no idea who the dude is all youve put up is the characters bios again dude, anyways like him a lot, can he act??

Dont know some of them other actors either??

All in all good work, cept LEAP-FROG! ; P

P.S. Ain't MAN-KILLER suppose to be butch?

WATER WIZARD = Great stuff!!!

Awesome BEETLE pick, that face is BEETLE all over, though im only going by looks here lol, who is he???? I hope he's a good actor, coz perfect if he is! : D

OZY @ QUINTO as NAMOR is a [frick]ing horrible choice dude!!!! BEHR a billion times better!!!

JoshWilding
JoshWilding - 1/24/2010, 3:01 PM
Wadey09/teabag: Lol! :D

ANIL: Thanks! I actually think that he has the perfect voice for Cap! Personally, I was really impressed by him in Chuck from the first time I saw him in the show! I think he has all of the right qualities for the character and he definitely looks the part and is the right height/age! I'd say that Damon is too old and as Pine already plays an iconic character in Star Trek I'd rather see him as someone like Hawkeye! (who's attitude would be better suited to him as an actor I think!)

TYLER: Thanks man, I guessed that lol!

Set2Fall: Yeah, the guy is perfect for playing the Scott Lang version of the character!

OZY: Thanks, I know that Jarvis is a computer in the movies but the actual human character played a big part in this storyline (which in a movie, I guess his part would have to be changed to Pepper Potts!) I used to like Quinto for Namor but he'd make a better Northstar!

LEE: Have you!?! As I said at the top and by the characters, they're all involved in the story so I've included them as this is sort of a cast of the graphic novel as well as for the third movie!

Nah, Dean Cain is no joke! He's a decent enough actor and he'd be the perfect choice to play a character like Leap-Frog, lol! Plus, on a more serious note he made a decent villain in Smallville!

Here's what the actors (or ones I'm guessing you might not know have been in...

Annie Wersching - 24
Wade Williams - Prison Break
Mark Pellegrino - Dexter, Lost, Supernatural
Jesse Spencer - House
Mini Anden - Chuck
Brian Geraghty - The Hurt Locker

Hope that helps! :) Thanks though man, glad you liked the cast!

P.S. Dude i know WADE WILLIAMS, PRISON BREAKS one of my all time fav shows! : D

Cheers for the info!

Cool i reckonise CONTRICTOR now!!

P.P.S. Ive watched HURT LOCKER twice and still have no idea who that one is up there lol??

Well it was a while ago though!

Dude awesome casting. I really like it and it would be an incredible cast for Iron Man 3.

I could definitely see all these characters in Iron Man 3. Hell Iron Man 2 has Nick Furry and Black Widow. Why couldn't it have Ant-Man or Namor?

Really like this casting man and all your castings.

Fantastic Josh@ Holy Moley!
Damm fine cast!
Krause as Ant-man is inspired!

Oh, man! Mini Anden! Damm
that woman's so fine yet so
bitchy on CHUCK! lol

This is a kick-butt idea for
an Iron Man movie! Demon in a
Bottle! I got this comic in a
hard plastic clear frame and hanging
on my bedroom wall! What a storyline
of all times!

Tea@ that explains why you like da booze!
Born on that time, of all times! lol

Mark Pelligrino as Constrictor is
right on the money!

Yep, McPartlin DOES have the PERFECT
voice for Cap! Deep and richly
characterized! I can just hear
Captain Awesome belting out "AVENGERS
ASSEMBLE" with his authoritative voice!
JoshWilding
JoshWilding - 1/25/2010, 5:57 AM
ANIL: I wouldnt be against Pine as Cap but I just cant reall imagine it to be honest! As for McPartlin, I guess we will have to just agree to disagree as me and LEE have done over Jensen Ackles, lol! :P I'm really glad you like the cast though dude, thanks!

LEE: No worries! Geraghty played one of the three main characters!

BatmanKnight: Thanks dude, I really appreciate that! I agree - with The Avengers uniting all of these characters, I see no reason why Cap or Ant-Man couldnt have some small cameos in Iron Man 3!

superheromoviefan: Thanks!

DDD: Thanks a lot bud! :) Yeah, though Anden isnt as butch as Man-Killer should probably be you only have to look at her face to see she could pull off an ass-kicking bitch, lol! (which she does ever so hotly on Chuck!)

Man, I have the graphic novel but you're damn lucky to have the original! I've considered Pelligrino for a few roles in the past but I think he fits this one perfectly..! And hell yeah, McPartlin for Cap! I never thought I'd hear myself saying this but he's an even better choice than Jensen Ackles!

i have read the synopsis of the story "Demon in a Bottle". I liked the story line. However there are too many enemies. Perhaps the possible plot/script for the movie could be re-written so as to have fewer enemies for Iron Man to confront to, and let the story of the alcoholism of Tony Stark become the main plot. These enemies lead by Hammer can exploit this weakness to the hilt. It would be an awesome film then because the plot itself, while becoming true to its origin, makes for a more "human" Iron Man.
as for the possible villains, maybe we can still have Whiplash, Blizzard and Melter only.
Great casting Josh, keep it up.
DDD
DDD - 1/26/2010, 12:40 AM
BTW, Josh@ David Suchet is ABSOLUTELY perfect for
Jarvis! I loved Suchet as Poirot! The best Poitot
ever!

I prefer a real Jarvis in difference to a robot one!
The human Jarvis did so many cool things for The
Avengers! I think they should have a real Jarvis
for THE AVENGERS!

Way too many villains and no Bethany Cabe
Nimibro
Nimibro - 7/6/2010, 8:04 AM
well, there are some flaws here:

some of the characters you included are obsolete, such as scott lang, jarvis (there's already one, we don't need an alfred rip-off), and some silly ones with no apparent potential to appear in the third film. also, i had this idea: why not have instead of rockwell-hammer justin hammer SR. in the next film? that could be great! with someone like james woods, christopher walken or donald sutherland in the role?
Luigi
Luigi - 8/18/2010, 7:21 PM
I'm not sure if you read these anymore but I'll comment anyway lol. For every actor that I'm familiar with on here, the character they'd play would be pretty cool. I have no idea how they would make characters like Porcupine and Leap Frog updated, but I'm sure Favreau could even make them cool. Everytime I see Peter Krause in these, I think it's Jim Carrey for some reason though :P
