FAN CAST: Justice League of America

Good cast Man!
Terrible Batman and Wonder Woman though.
Perfect Superman,Hawkman,Green Arrow,Black Canary,Zatanna,and Flash!

longbowhunter: Lol! :) Personally, I think she's young and talented enough to build a lasting superhero franchise like Wonder Woman! She's a great actress, has mostly the right look and given the chance, I reckon she'd do a damned good job!

NightAvenger4: Thanks man! As long as you liked most of them, I'm happy! Batman and Wonder Woman are two that I struggled to cast so I just tried to go for some different actors...I'm really not sure who's perfect for either of the roles to be honest, though I would probably be happy to see either of my picks playing them!

TYLER: Thanks dude - I wont argue with you there! Though I think my two Batman casts have been good, both my Superman cast (and probably this one) are a little weaker in comparison to my Marvel stuff becuause I'm just not as familiar with the characters! I just wanted to give JLA a go I guess, lol! :)

I wanted to avoid casting Bale (and I just cant imagine him wanting to star in a JLA movie) so I went with Pasdar...Batman is probably the DC character I know the most about and though I think he'd be a decent choice for the role, I'm sure there's someone better out there - I just dont know who!

As for your other points, I cant say I'd disagree! I know Holloway is a popular choice for GA but I really like Hamm for that role and Holloway could probably pull off Aquaman if he dropped the southern accent. (although the character I really want to see him as is Marvel's Corsair!) I really liked Swan in Smallville (for me, she was the highlight of an otherwise shit season) and though it admittedly seems like an odd choice, I could see Hathaway doing something interesting with WW!

tea: Thanks mate! I've come around to the idea of Routh coming back to play Superman (as long as he drops the Christopher Reeves impression!) and I knew Hathaway was a bit of an odd choice but if nothing else, it would be great to see her in the WW costume, lol! ;D

TYLER: Well thanks bud, I appreciate that! :) It was really the opposite for me as I grew up watching the Spider-Man animated series as well as repeates of the X-Men, Iron Man and Hulk ones!

After that it was around the time of the first Spider-Man movie being released I started buying Spider-Man comic books, then catching up with the graphic novels and as time went on and I read more and more Marvel I was eventually so deep into that, I was too far out of whatever was going on in DC to get into it!

One of the biggest things that put me off reading DC is that in recent years there always seems to be some big event going on through all their titles - the same can be said for Marvel I know but I guess I was lucky I got into it before they all started with Avengers Disassmbled etc! I do still get the occasional Batman TPB though!

I completely agree with you about Bale - I'd say that the third Batman movie will be both his and Nolan's last - a pity sure, but if it means a new start with a Batman you could actually put into the JLA then it definitely wont be a bad thing!

Ha, I remember that interview now you mention it! The guy's a fantastic actor and though he'd probably make a decent Aquaman, I have to agree with you that his personality is probably better suited to Oliver Queen!

OZY: Thanks! (and thanks for letting me know in bold, lol!) ;) No Bale because right now I dont see his Batman fitting into a JLA universe. What the heck has Hathaway done to you to call her a bitch, lol!? Fassbender should be Captain Britain but if he were Bullseye, he could be a DC character as well!

seanxvito: Glad you like a few..! :P Have to disagree with you about switching Biel and Hathaway - I just cant see Biel as WW!

NightAvenger4: No worries man - I would totally like to keep Bale as Batman but I just dont see him wanting to do a movie like the JLA, plus Nolan's Batman doesnt really fit into the world of characters like Superman...still, as Nolan's heading up that particular reboot we might just see Bale's Batman in the JLA! I was going to cast Sjarsgard but I've seen him in quite a few other casts so went with Holloway instead! And yeah, Doug Jones is a great fit for a character like MM! :)

Dmon: Thanks - I just went with the original founding members of the JLA! Though I'll admit Hathaway isnt necessarily the best WW choice out there, I'd say she's better than Biel! There's nothing about her that says WW to me! I obviously agree though that she's a much better fit for Hawkgirl...she looks perfect for the role for a start! :)

OZY: Lol, I get it - I feel the same way towards a fair few actors as well!

LEE: Wow, thanks a lot bud! I'm really pleased you like this cast especially after you didnt exactly like my Superman one! (who can blame you? I cast Sam Worthington as Superman...I was high on Avatar, lol) Though Pasdar would be a decent big screen Batman, it would be even more awesome to see a TV version!

Yeah, I've only caught a few episodes of Mad Men but I really liked what I saw and I can see now why you've campaigned for Hamm as Green Arrow! Totally agree with you about Haysbert! He was brilliant in 24 and has the right look and voice for the character!

I couldnt think of anyone else for Zatanna but I liked her in Smallville and going by the picture above she looks completely perfect for the role as well!! I get your point about Wilson...I'd be happy to see him in any other CBM role but Hank Pym has got to be the one I most want to see him play! I was going to cast Fox but as I used him as Hush a few days ago (which he perfect for IMO) I went with my second choice!

Funnily enough, that's the same thing I've seen Hathaway in! (never again though, lol!) I really do think she'd be great as Wonder Woman though the more I think about it the more I am actually coming around to your idea of Jodi Lynn O'Keefe!

You and LEEE have convinced me about Jon Hamm as GA!

I like all of the actors but maybe not for the roles you gave em. But then, they could own the roles of course, just talking speculatively. Holloway wouldn't SEEM like a good fit for Aquaman..I see him better at playing a more cocky type character. Pasadar could work for Bats actually, he is/was good on heroes and at the very least would be a good Bruce Wayne. Hathaway is a great actress, not sure about WW..she might be a little bit slight of frame and young looking. Fassbeneder is awesome and would probably own any role, but maybe Hawkman is a bit brutish. Can't argue with Haysbert or Hamm(although I still haven't seen Mad Man!). Wilson for Flash could work, I'd say he could pull it off. Love Biel for Hawkgirl, I think she;s perfect for that. Not sure who the chick you picked for Canary is but she certainly looks the part. But I would keep any actor that has played the same character in Smallville away from a big screen movie..otherwise its crossing over without actually crossing over if you know what I mean!

have to say about that!

I for one like Pasdar as Batman! I don't think Bale will be

I also think Routh could still do Superman but I don't think

I don't like Hamm for Green Arrow either. I think Holloway
should play him. I think Hamm is too old or old-looking
for the JL at all! I like Hamm as an actor just personally
don't think he fits in the JL movie.

All-in-all its a good cast I just personally differ with
you on those two!
