Here are my choices for who I'd like to see star in a movie featuring The Immortal Iron Fist! Included in the cast are the characters from his origins and later life including Luke Cage, Steel Serpent, Colleen Wing and more!

Wendell Rand discovered the mystical city of K'un-L'un as a young boy and during his time there saved the life of the city's ruler. However, rather than become the next Iron Fist, he left and became a wealthy entrepreneur marrying Heather Duncan with whom he had a child, Daniel Rand. When Daniel was nine, Wendell organized an expedition to again seek out K'un L'un, taking his wife Heather, his business partner Harold Meachum, and Daniel.

During the journey up the mountain, Daniel slipped off the path, his tie-rope taking his mother and father with him. Meachum, who also loved Heather, forced Wendell to plunge to his death but offered to rescue Heather and Daniel. She rejected his help, preferring to journey without him or die. Heather and Daniel survive and come across a makeshift bridge but are attacked by wolves. Heather throws herself on the wolves to save Daniel and is killed even as archers from K'un L'un attempt to save her. The archers took the grieving Daniel to see Yü-Ti, the hooded ruler of K'un L'un. When Daniel expresses his desire for vengeance, Yü-Ti apprentices him to Lei Kung - the Thunderer, who teaches him the martial arts.

At 19, Daniel is given the chance to attain the power of the Iron Fist by defeating the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying. During the battle, Daniel throws himself against the scar of Shou-Lao, which burns a dragon tattoo into his chest. Having killed Shou-Lao, he plunges his fists into a brazier containing the creature's molten heart, emerging with the power of the Iron Fist.

When K'un L'un reappears on Earth after 10 years, Daniel decides to leave and find his father's killer. Returning to New York, dressed in the ceremonial garb of the Iron Fist, he seeks out Harold Meachum. After overcoming a number of attempts on his life, he confronts Meachum in his office, only to find the man legless - an amputation carried out when, after abandoning Daniel and his mother, he was caught in heavy snow and his legs became frostbitten. Impressed by Daniel’s abilities, Meacham begs for life. Overcome with pity for this pathetic shell of a man, he walks away. IRON FIST then decided to become a superhero.

I like them all, but I prefer Charlie Hunnam as Iron Fist, and Porter as Johnny Storm.

I still like Crews as Cage, but I'm starting to think most wouldn't take him seriously. I think Henry Simmons is a decent enough actor and looks spot on from the comics.

OZY: Cheers dude and yeah, I guess I have been posting one a day! However, I'm not stopping anytime soon (I'm on a good run right now!) so look out for fan cast 56 tomorrow! :P

TYLER: Thanks bud, glad you like the cast! Interesting choice with Hunnam...I could definitely see him as Iron Fist! Porter remains my #1 choice though as Chris Pine is now my top pick for Johnny Storm in an FF reboot! I get what you mean about Crews...although he's pretty much perfect for the character, his comedy background might go against him. However, he gave a great serious performance in Street Kings so I think he could pull it off! Great choice with Simmons - I could most definitely see him as Cage!

Yeah, Pine would make a great Johnny too, but Porter's so overdue for a CBM character, like Henry Cavill, I think he deserves it. But hey, at least you didn't cast Ray Park :)

I too think Crews could pull it off, though. But he is getting abit up there, like HAWK said, he's 45, if you can believe it.

I'm not a huge fan of Iron Fist, but Porter could do it. I like the idea of Ray Park better though.

Henry Simmons for Luke Cage. (Although I think Terry Crews could be maybe do it, he would be my second choice of the actors I've seen suggested)

Update: Michael Jai White would be a third option as well.

THEHAWK: Thanks! I think Porter would make a great Iron Fist - he has all of the right qualities and the perfect look for the character! Good point about Crews and I'm glad you like my character choice for Haysbert!

TYLER: I agree and I'd be happy to see him as either Iron Fist or The Human Torch to be honest! And a big no to Ray Park - sure he could pull off he stunts but as you've said he just doesnt have the acting ability to effectively portray the character! 45 huh? Damn, I guess he is getting a bit old now..! Simmons for Luke Cage then, lol!

ANIL: Lol, thanks man! I've been a pretty big fan of Luke Cage ever since he joined the New Avengers all those years ago - I'm sure White would do a decent enough job, I'm just not a huge fan of the guy! I dont like Hartley as an actor all that much either...plus, I think his Smallville character is too similar! Hunnam would be my 2nd choice for the role! Glad you like the cast though bud! The Daredevil and New Avengers stuff with Iron Fist was great! Hopefully he'll turn up somewhere in the new "Heroic Age"! As Luke is involved in both the New Avengers and Thunderbolts, I'm guessing he will at some point!

Terry Crews, in my opinion, is too old
and just a bit too homely for CAGE!
Luke Cage is a tall handsome younger dude!
But that is just nitpicking on my part!
Terry sure has the body for it and is
a good actor.

Colleen Wing is half Chinese and Mila
isn't! Just some more nitpicking! lol

Nice to see the Lost stars get some due respect. Terry O'Quinn rocks, and where's Dae-Kim hiding these days?

I agree with DDD. Terry Crews' dramatic skills are in question, but he works as a funny man. What about Henry Simmons or Brian J. White (once recently rumored).

JOSH- GREAT CAST! But I must say one thing,
WHY JET LI!!..I'm sorry I am NOT a fan of his
movies or acting..everything he does is
"wire work" or special effects..I am A GIANT
fan of Jackie Chan..he does his OWN stunts..
NO WIRES and NO special effects and I think
he is a much better actor. He is funny and
belivable. He is a STUNT MASTER!

IMO CHAN'S BEST FIGHT SCENE!..NO WIRES, NO SPECIAL
EFFECTS and It is just AWESOME! only he can
choreograph fight scenes like THIS..he is a true MASTER!

Nice cast Im just not sure about Porter as Iron Fist. I dont
think that guy can throw a straight one-two or land
a solid back-kick for that matter. A younger Chuck Norris might have worked back in the day.

Im noticing alot of people loving Crews as Cage
I can see it if he doesnt bring the humor and
they do it now. I perfer Micheal Duncan Clark,
but like Crews he's getting old. Alot of people
on here are saying Micheal Jai White but he's only 5'9"
he's ALL WRONG for the part CAGE needs to be HUGE.

HAYSBERT as Master Khan I dont see that one....Khan is asian right? I like to keep things as close to the material as possible if not he's a great talent im
sure he could handle the part.

If they made this movie with this cast I'd go see it

IMO he was the best of the bunch to play CAP AMERICA!

You know PORTER don't know much kung-fu right?

I like him as IRON FIST though, but would prefer to see him as SENTRY!

Perfect CAGE pick,ive got that pick too!

Love the rest, but hey how can you have [frick]ing NEESON when you cast him as DR STRANGE??? ; P

RoadDogXXIV: Yeah, most of the actors in Lost are better than the overpaid chumps in the movies! Kim is still in Lost - I dont think he's done much i the way of big screen movies recently! This would be the perfect role for him in that respect! Simmons would probably be my next choice for Luke!

PETE: Cheers mate - I like Li for the most part but I completely forgot about Chan! The guy is a great actor and is great at the stunts side of things...I'd be just as happy to see him play Thunderer! Great idea and vid!

blade40: Thanks man! I think he could easily learn the moves he needs to (like most actors do) and a stunt double would probably handle the majority of the stunts as the character wears a mask anyway, lol! Both Crews and Clark would have made great Luke Cage's a few years ago but as you say they're both a little old now! I didnt know he was that short but I've always though that White was a horrible choice! I'm not certain but I think Khan impersonated a black man for a while so I was basing my choice off that!

LEE: Thanks dude! :) Scott Porter was the best choice to play Cap off of the short list but as he's now out of the running for that, I'd like to see him play Iron Fist! Besides, he can learn kung-fu!!! Interesting choice casting him as Sentry...I prefer Alexander Skarsgard for that role personally! I only want Neeson for the older comic book version of Doctor Strange! Depp is still my #1 choice for the upcoming movie though!

and he said the guy was between 5'9"-5'11". So who knows he could very well be 6'0 LOL.

Pretty good casting.

Harold Meachum: Hell No. Neeson is too big for such a little role. The character looks like a fatter Sam Elliott.

Daniel Rand: I used to have Charlie Hunnam as Iron Fist, But Scott Porter would be better.

Luke Cage: I agree with statechamp00, Simmons would be better.

Misty Knight: Saldana would be better as Monica Rambeau/Pulsar. I say Kerry Washington for Misty Knight.

Colleen Wing: I always thought Colleen was Asian, so I picked Moon Bloodgood. Besides, I want Jovovich to play Songbird.

Yeah, I've realised now that the best time to post a cast is when it's about 12 pm here and 6am over with you guys!pass4sure 642-357 That's when it's quieter and there's more chance that it'll stay nearer the top even though CBM is a little quieter! Glad you like my choices! Anyone would be better than Mendes, lol,pass4sure 1Y0-A05 but Bosworth would make a great Roxanne I think! Weaving and Rickman were actually two of my favourite choices in this cast so I'm glad you like them and I think that Deathwatch was a fairly major villain to Ketch so the part might be about right for Washington! Great idea with the Eternals!pass4sure 642-456 It's thanks to you I'm doing a Squadron Supreme cast so I might have a go at that one as well at some point!pass4sure 642-426 Cheers man!
