Very good cast! I read the MAX series when I can and I really enjoy it! Would love to see a movie of this!

FILLION is the perfect GUARDIAN dude, you can believe him leading ALPHA FLIGHT!

Though dude, MATTHEW FOX is American and totally wrong for Guardian, thats like casting DANIEL CRAIG for CAPTAIN AMERICA??? GUARDIAN has to be a Canadian actor man! ; D

I'm half joking about VOGEL, i don't mind him as CAP but i would easily take him over HUMAN TORCH boy and GACKLES!

LEE: I never thought about Guardian that way...I'd love to see Fillion play him though as Fox is now my #1 Colossus choice! Great idea dude, kudos! I'd be more than happy with Hammer but McPartlin is still my top choice for who should play Captain America! I'm cool with Evans playing him though even if you arent, lol!

Pretty good casting.

Hyperion: I like Jake Gyllenhaal for Hyperion. Nathan Fillion should play the Ghost Rider. And Karl Urban should play Scott Lang.

Nighthawk: Chiwetel is a good actor, but Leonard Roberts (D.L. Hawkins from "Heroes") looks more like the character.

Dr. Spectrum: I think Brian Geraghty (Owen Elridge from The Hurt Locker) is better suited for Dr. Spectrum.

Amphibian: My pick for Amphibian is Carey Mulligan. Emilie de Ravin should play Spitfire.

Blue Eagle: Cooper is my pick for Hawkeye. Peter Krause should play Blue Eagle.

Nuke: Since Gyllenhaal is my pick for Hyperion, then I choose Zachary Knighton (Bryce from FlashForward) to play Nuke.

contrast: Thanks dude! Dont let me put you off posting your own version of this cast! Looking forward to seeing it!

PETE: No worries man! Damn, this cast hasnt had a lot of comments though..! I think it's because not many people are interested in the characters, similar to my Young Avengers cast which only had about 8 comments! You know Kevin Durand! He was Blob in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and has also been in Lost!

LEE: Yeah, I was the first to suggest Fox for that role in my Astonishing X-Men cast! I know exactly what you mean, lol! Hell, I sometimes think I've cast actors in roles I've actually seen in other people's casts! I'm glad you're not totally against Evans - I think he'd do a great job but there's no way I'd rather see him play Cap than McPartlin! He's perfect for the role!

ThalesNJ: Cheers mate! They're some excellent casting choices! Have you considered doing your own Squadron Supreme fan cast because you have some brilliant ideas by the looks of things! Personally, I disagree with a lot of them because I have other roles lined up for those actors (Urban/Ghost Rider, Krause/Scott Lang for example!) but forgetting that for a second, I'd be more than happy to see any of your choices on the big screen just as much as mine! Good stuff dude!

@Josh - Nah, I'm too lazy to do a Fan Cast LOL :P

Besides, my picks are constantly changing, since some castings give me some great ideas (for example Melissa Sagemiller as Invisible Woman).

But I'll start making my Astonishing X-Men and Avengers casting now. I might post one of them next weekend.

LEE: I definitely think he could pull it off! And I wouldnt be too upset about him not playing Johnny Storm again because I'd like to see Chris Pine in that role now! And although I'd like to see Hammer as Archangel, he's definitely in my top 5 Captain America casting choices!

BatmanKnight: Cheers dude! A few of these characters were knew to me as well so I had to base some of my casting choices off looks alone! This cast is a little obscure so after my Old Man Logan one I'll be sticking with ones people have actually heard of, lol! I feel like I'm starting to run out of characters though to be honest..! :P

PETE: Yeah, that's more than likely it! I barely know some of them, lol, and I only read Marvel! Still, the comments I have had have been good so as long as you guys (however few of you) like it then that's cool with me! I'm not sure when my next cast will be up now...probably Thursday because Old Man Logan is pretty damned difficult to cast!

DDD: Thanks bud! :) Yeah, this was another tough one especially as I'm not a big fan of the characters, lol! I forgot that you like Russo for Wonder Woman! As Power Princess is basically Marvel's version of that character, it's a wierd coincidence that I cast her in this role! Fillion is a superb actor and I too would like to see him in more roles! He'd make an amazing Nathan Drake (from the Uncharted PS3 games) and that's probably the role I'd most like to see him in!

JoshW: love the cast except for HYPERION the modern version of this character is edgey(disconnected from humanity and violent) and very powerful
almost at the Superman power levels. Thats' why I'd
love to see Daniel Craig for that part Im not really feeling Fillion, Craig has that air about him that I
think would be right for the HYPERION persona.

JoshW: If you can see Fillion portraying a character similar to SUPERMAN then yes he'd work.
Classic Hyperion is slightly based off DC's version of Superman
he has atomic vision,he leviates instead of flying,he has superhuman speed & strength,and regenerates when injuried.
He also has one weakness some compound called argonite
it doesnt kill him, but breaks down his resitance to injury so it causes something like a bullet to now be able to penetrate his body and in effect has a good shot at killing him.
