FAN CAST: Old Man Logan by JoshW

JOSH @ You've used my old man BRUCE WAYNE from my FRANK MILLER DARK KNIGHT casting as OLD MAN LOGAN lol??

Dunno man all i see is, is him as a made up old Bruce Wayne! But saying that he'd do a good job!!

Love the rest of the casting though but you have left Zero info on who anyone is, i don't know some of these actors?

Plus if you hav'nt read this comic its just pictures up there lol, luckily i have but not everyone has!

Dude this is why we get so many castings that are just pictures from other ppl, coz if the more seasoned fan-casters do it, they think why not, then we get a billion castings a day in fan fic lol!

Dude i never said this before to you but i wanna know why you want these actors for the parts, and who they are and maybe what they've done?

I have no idea who MUSSO, ELLE FANNING, DEVINE, RAISON, RUSSOM, JADE WILSON and PAGE KENNEDDY is??

Hey don't hate man, just saying, i love all your other parts for the roles, so great work on them man!!

As for OLD MAN LOGAN, Clint Eastwood would own the part (maybe he's a bit too old?), but Brolin's cool!

Anyway good stuff man!

jusme6: Thanks man! I couldn’t see Ford as Logan though and although Kristofferson looks perfect for Hawkeye, I don’t think he'd be right in the role. Unfortunately, you're more than likely right and this will never get made! It relies so much on the reader having a good knowledge of Marvel history, it would be hard for a regular person or casual fan to enjoy a movie adaptation. Some minor changes could sort that though, so fingers crosses, lol!

LEE: Dude, you know I don’t care about DC! ;) Now you mention it I do remember you casting him in that role and I'm sure he's do a great job but I wasn’t thinking of that when I made this cast because as an actor I think that Brolin suits this role perfectly! I'll add a little info an what the above actors have been in later but as I've said above:

"Although I normally include small bios for each of the characters I feature in my casts, I haven’t done that this time simply because anything that I say would have ruined the story for anyone who hasn’t yet read it."

As for why I've chosen the actors, as I've told you before no one ever took any notice of that and I always ended up repeating myself in the comments section. If anyone wants to know why I've made a particular choice they can ask me here where I would rather discuss it as I often do with you! That's just the way I want to do my casts and I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon! :) Unfortunately, I think that Eastwood would indeed be too old although a few years ago he would have been the perfect choice for this role! Glad you like the rest of my choices though, thanks mate!

longbowhunter: Thanks, that's exactly how I felt! His voice just suits the personality of thsi version of Ultron IMO!

blade40: Thanks bud! It was hard to come up with a few of these choices but I'm especially pleased you like those two as they were just a couple of the hardest! Yeah, I was thinking the same thing with Brolin. If you combine his performances in W. and No Country for Old Men, you pretty much have the look/personality sewn up for Old Man Logan right there, lol! I think I'll give a quick update on who the actors are in a few minutes but I'm not going to explain who the characters are because it will just ruin the storyline for anyone who hasn’t read it! It's so full of twists, turns and big reveals even the most minor of details would spoil it and I know how frustrating that is from experience!

ANIL: Cheers dude! Lol, I hate Seth Green so I'll have to say no to him and although Kristofferson most definitely looks the part, I don’t think he's the right guy for the job - Ford is far better suited IMO! Glad you like Brolin and the rest of my choices though man, thanks!

Bamf7: Thanks man! :) As it's been 3 years since the last X-Men movie and with Jansenn now too old to play Jean IMO, I don’t think it would be a problem if she were to play this character especially as, like with Russo, it's only a pretty minor part!

BlackReverend: I'm glad you like the cast, thanks. I dont think you quite understand why I haven’t included info on who the characters are. As I've said above, "...anything that I say would have ruined the story for anyone who hasn’t yet read it". As you haven’t read the graphic novel, if I had given just one line on what role the Red Skull plays for example, it would have completely ruined the twist that involves that character in the sixth or seventh chapter! You wanted me to tell you who Ashley Barton is? That's the second chapter ruined. It's common sense dude. And as I've frequently said, if you want to know why I've chosen an actor I'll tell you in the comments section. As for how to write in the fonts you mention and embedding links, just Google it and you'll find plenty of helpful websites with step-by-step instructions. That's earier than me trying to explain it here to tell you the truth! :)

I liked it, but I agree with Lee, if there was some other way to do it it would be better, great idea with putting the shows they've been on there, I just did a New Gods casting and it's already almost to second page, I wish that Fan Fic was split into Casting and stories. good job though, I think it's got a lot of thought put into it, but I like hearing why someone chose them.

just do you're thing man! All you put out is QUALITY work
on here. So I really don't understand why SHAMAN is being this way. Anyway Brolin and Ford on the same screen..that is GOLD in my book! Yes Zoe is a little to old but not by much so I don't think it would be a big deal, for her to play the part. Janssen did put up a very memorable performance in TAKEN, and I agree, though the part is small she would make it very memorable. Again looking foward to the ULT. FF/X-Men cast!!

PETE: My friend, you've just summed it up better than I ever could. I love how guys like DDD and LEE go into detail but that's not me. That's not who I am. This is just the way I do my casts and as long as people like you are ok with that then I'll keep on going! And no, I ant quite get my head around it either! I completely agree with your points about the cast though! Out of interest, what do you think about my choices for The Hulk Gang?

I have to say that I too have my reservations over Brolin. Dont get me wrong, I think he's the right guy for the job but I cant help but feel that there's another actor out there who would be even better..! I just bloody well wish I knew who it was, lol! ;)

ThalesNJ: Cheers bud, I'm glad you like the cast! :) I was racking my brains for young actors to cast (as apart from the ones suggested for Spider-Man, I really dont know many!) and I have to admit that casting Musso was based more on looks than anything else! I did check out a few clips of him on YouTube however and I definitely think he could handle a small part like this! Great choice with Huffman! I know I've cast him as someone but for the life of me, I honestly cant remember! Wow, even greater casting choice with Fanning as Luna - brilliant man, just brilliant! I could see Madison as Jade as well though, good thinking! Pike is a good choice for Emma but I'm sticking with Raison! Glad you like the rest though dude, thanks again! :)

If This was really made i don't think Famke Janssen could be in it as a different charecter since she is in the same franchise but i like the idea of Brolin as Wolverine

Shaman/Scarface: No offence to either of you but I've deleted both your earlier comments and my own. I make these casts for both myself and the CBM community to enjoy and although I respect that you both dont like the way I do that, I dont want the comments section of this article to be filled with back and forth bickering. This is where I discuss the cast with those who take the time to comment and I intend to keep it that way. If you find my casts that offensive please just avoid them in future. Thanks.

josh: Great cast as usual. You said you didn't know who would be better for old man Logan. Mel Gibson is getting up there in years, I always thought he would have made a geat Logan.
