NightAvenger4: Thanks mate - as you know, I was the first person on CBM to campaign for Bret Harrison as Spider-Man but I feel like he'd be better suited to the character's college years rather than the more current time that this cast is based on! I very nearly cast Jackpot and MJ in that way but as I have another fairly big role lined up for Winstead I decided to change things around a little! Glad you liked the cast, thanks again dude!

TheAnswer: Thanks bud! :) I'm guilty of having done a high school reboot cast in the past but I thought it would make a nice change to do a Spider-Man cast based on something other than that!

Oh and good call on Page. Hate teh character, but she would do good as her.

THEHAWK: Cheers dude, glad you like the cast! Although I'm pretty happy with my pick for Harry, I have to say that like with a few other characters I've cast in the past, I cant help but feel that there's someone better out there for the role! I just have no idea who, lol! Unless they were to use Hendricks as MJ in the next year, I have to agree that she's now got to the point of being too old for MJ...it's just a real pity that Sony didn’t cast her way back in 2001 instead of Dunst! Glad you like the Peter and Screwball (who I'm also not a big fan of) choices as well man! Oh, and I'll be sure to check out you new story sometime later today!

ANIL: Thanks mate! :) With Chan I was thinking more about the Martin Li side of the character which I think he's perfect for but I have to admit to having doubts about how well he'd portray the Mister Negative side! I think he could pull it off though..! Apart from the odd one or two things, I'm also a big fan of BND so it's good to see that another fan likes it as well!

SHHH: Lol, cheers man - it was actually nice to do a grown up Spider-Man cast! (I didn’t really enjoy hunting down teen actors for my reboot cast a while back!) It's unusually quiet on here for some reason though so I don’t know whether that's because people have had enough of Spidey casts or whether they think it's yet another reboot one! Anyway, I'm glad you liked it dude!

PETE: Thanks bud! I've never actually seen Sons of Anarchy to be honest! I've seen him in Children of Men though and he is indeed a brilliant actor! I've only seen a handful of episodes with Skarsgård in but he was easily one of the most impressive things I saw in the show so I have no doubt that he could pull off a character like Eddie Brock (and he'd be 100x better than Topher Grace anyway, lol!) Haha, I feel the same way about that Twilight crap but c'mon - she looks perfect for Paperdoll!!! Glad you like my Menace and Mister Negative picks while I agree with you about Witwer and his lame ass Doomsday in Smallville…however, his performance in Dexter a few years ago was excellent and I actually think it was Smallville‘s crappy scripts and direction that ruined Doomsday because they guy is a decent actor! Howard is a great (and as you said, hot!) actress who I'd love to see squeeze into Jackpot's costume! Thanks again man, I cant wait to see your next cast especially as I love the Silent Hill games!

DOGS: Thanks mate, I'm pleased you like the cast! I agree with you that Sturgess would need to hit the gym if he were to play Peter...I've never considered anyone for the role of a pre-serum Steve Rogers - I wonder if they'll cast a seperate actor for that? I love McPartlin for Flash and wanted to cast him as the character a long time ago but as I was supporting him for Captain America at the time so couldnt really! Glau deserves to be a big name star that's for sure and I'd love to see her in a role like this that would make her a big star! Howard is allowed if I say she is, lol! Seriously though, she was wasted with the role they gave her in Spider-Man 3 so I think they could bring her (along with her read hair!) for Jackpot!

This cast is feaking awesome, though I have other roles for some of those actors, I only disagree with your Mary Jane and your Betty Brant.

Mary Jane: Nah, I don't think Hendricks looks anything like Mary Jane, though she'd be an awesome Jean Grey. I say Amanda Righetti (Grace from The Mentalist).

Betty Brant: Zooey would be a great Betty Brant in the reboot. But Michelle Monaghan would be a perfect older Betty.

It is DAMN hard to find screenshots of a 2 year old game! I found enough (I think)..and Silent Hill: Homecoming..will make a nice cast!

OK I will say she DOES LOOK the part for paperdoll, but come on TWILIGHT actor are off limits!! LOL!

I just started watching DEXTER so I must of missed
Witwer's role..I agree..a bad script equalls a barely belivable performance..but still SMALLVILLE is GREAT!

Ya Silent Hill is my favorite "survival/horror" game
sure resident evil games are epic..(but the movies are not good)..Silent Hill has an EERIE feel to it, and the BEST soundtrack in videogames!

THEHAWK: Man, that is exactly how I feel about a fair few characters I've cast in the past! I've sat for hours sometimes searching for the right actor and although I've eventually settled on someone, I'm always left feeling slightly dissatisfied because deep down I know that there's a perfect choice out there who I just cant seem to put my finger on!

ThalesNJ: Cheers mate, much appreciated! :) Great idea casting Hendricks as Jean Grey! Personally, I'd like to see her play Medusa from The Inhumans as well! I'm not familiar with her but from looking at her pictures, Righetti would make a great Jean as well! (although I can definitely see her as MJ!) Monaghan is a good idea for an older Betty but I think that Deschanel is the right age to play the regular version as well! Glad you liked the rest though man, thanks again!

PETE: Try searching 'Silent Hill: Homecoming GiantBomb' on Google and they should have plenty of info and pictures about the game and it's characters! That's where I found everything I needed for my Bioshock cast! Lol, when she's so perfect for Paperdoll I'm afraid that I'm going to have to allow an exception with Stewart! Oh and Witwer is in the first season of Dexter at about halfway point! Completely agree with you about Silent Hill as well dude! The recent ones have been a little hit and miss but they're easily some of the best games of the survival/horror genre!

HAWKS: Thanks bud! :) I've only seen him in 21 but that was enough to make me think he's make a great Spider-Man! To be honest, I'm not sure who the best person would be to play the current Peter Parker who's in the comic books right now but Srurgess is definitely up there as being one of my top choices alongside Jake Gyllenhaal!

I have no idea why I keep changing...I like Gyllenhaal for Peter but he too seems overused while Harrison would be better as a younger version (college years maybe?) IMO! This is my 4th Spidey cast and I've had a different actor in each of them! Glad you like the rest though bud, thanks! I still like Purcell for Venom but Skarsgård would also be a great fit especially for the latest version of Eddie! She's perfect for X-23 but also for this character...c'mon, Sony make Spider-Man and Fox (mother-[frick]ers!!!) make X-Men so she can do an "Evans" right? ;D And hell yeah to Elisha as Black Cat!

CRITIC: Thanks mate! Hmm...good point about Menace! I didnt actually consider that while making this cast but I guess that's mainly because I was thinking about the newer version of the character that actually looks like Lily! You're right about it being a different actor for the more masculine version though! I wasnt a fan of "The Other" to be honest..! I hated the way his death was handled and the whole thing just felt too rushed IMO! JMS' run was perfect right up until Romita Jr left because things just started going downhill from there despite Deadato's great art, although "Back in Black" was excellent! Lol, yeah I'm definitely thinking about doing a RE5 cast soon as well as MW2, GTA IV and a fair few others! I just feel like I've run out of ideas for the comic book ones right now! I'm also working on my first story so that might be up in a couple of weeks! :)

dude JOSHW, good casting. love christina hendricks for any redhead! i just am not a fan of sturgess for parker though. not saying hed be bad, just rather see someone else. man, ray wise looks just like hammerhead in that pick. dont know if thats been done or said before. dont know the actor much, but might be a good pick for him. the rest are cool>nice
