Red is the story of Frank Moses (Willis), a former black-ops CIA agent, who is now living a quiet life. That is until the day a hi-tech assassin shows up intent on killing him. With his identity compromised and the life of the woman he cares for, Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker), endangered, Frank reassembles his old team (Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren) in a last ditch effort to survive. Also in the cast are Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, Ernest Borgnine, Julian McMahon, James Remar and Rebecca Pidgeon.

Thanks guys! :) It's my pleasure to bring you all this great news especially as I enjoy it just as much as you, lol! This is why I love Comic Con though. On a normal day, you'll only get a few really interesting news stories...now though, every single one of them is pretty much a must read!

I was pretty much on the fence about Red before seeing this trailer...now I'm looking forward to it more than ever! I had my doubts especially about Mirren, who despite being a great actress, I just couldnt imagine in this role - she fits it perfectly by the looks of things and the fact it's such a weird sight makes it all the more hilarious! The rest of the cast also look top notch IMO. The action looks awesome as well.

Awesome trailer. Loved the last trailer where they showed Bruce Willis fighting Karl Urban and Bruce said "Did Kordeski train you?" "Yeah." says Karl, Bruce replies "I trained Kordeski."

@TucsonRican how is it different????
AngelAragiel
AngelAragiel - 7/23/2010, 11:45 AM
@TucsonRican I've read the comic and yeah it's very different, but it I think is hard to turn a 74 pages comic into a movie that's why I don't complain.
@HelaGood the comic it's not really a comedy and follows the story of Frank Moses only, it's quick and violent and very straight forward.

@AngelAragiel but apart from it being a comedy and an ensemble piece, the characters and storyline are the same, yes?

@HelaGood well basic story line; retired agent, hunted down by the agency and turning against it, is similar, as for the main characteres in comic there's Frank Moses, Sally, Mr Beesly and Adrian Kane, the characters of Freeman, Mirren and Malkovich were added.

This is lookin' great! And really seems
genuinely funny!

I love all these old-timer badass groups!

Wild Geese, The Expenables and now RED!

Great to see ol' Ernie Borgnine in there!

TucsonRican
TucsonRican - 7/23/2010, 9:34 PM
What's funny is that they took a pretty good revenge piece, and added humor and made up the three other main characters....

And it looks better! What a concept! An Adaptation that wasn't afraid to change the story!

Why didn't this work for Wanted?

Borgnine is H*ll of a actor!!:D
