Brendon Connelly over at Bleeding Cool has once again managed to snap a few more pictures tonight of the filming that is taking place in Oxford showing Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) and possibly Jennifer Lawrence. (Mystique) There's also a shot of a few 1960's era cars so they're obviously doing their best to make this movie look as authentic as possible.

Do you live in Oxford? If so, grab your camera and send us some pics here at CBM by clicking on the "Contact Me" link at the top left hand side of the page! And if for some reason you're looking forward to X-Men: First Class then check it out in cinemas on June 3, 2011. Or you could save your cash and see Green Lantern two weeks later. I know what I'll be doing... :)

I just love that both the Captain America & X-men movies are filming not too far from each other.

But despite what I said above I want to retaliate at Fox for taking Michael Fassbender from The Spider-Man reboot(also because I think this poster is just damn hilarious), take this Fox! lol:

Intruder/ckal: Lol, how could I resist? There's no way I'll ever write anything good about this Fox piece of shit? Should I wait for more information/footage/pictures? No. What Bryan Singer revealed about it a while back was enough for me to know what an insult to the comic books it'll be. It could be the best movie of 2011 (I highly doubt that) and I'd still hate it. [frick] First Class and [frick] Fox! :D

MTL: I've tried to argue with you about these sorts of things in the past, but as you're someone whose knowledge pretty much comes down to nothing but the animated series' rather than the comic books, you really cant understand how disappointing it is to grow up reading the comic books and then seeing them totally ignored and disrepected in order for a studio like Fox to make a quick buck. Need examples? Go watch Fantastic Four, Elektra or X-Men Origins: Wolverine again. Chris Nolan doesnt exactly stick closely to the source material with Batman but at least he has the decency to give us some great movies. Fox do not. And have you ever even read Ultimate X-Men!?! Because it sure as hell wasnt set in the 1960's with a cast of characters like X-Men: Frst Class has!

And there's nothing "bias" about my article - get back to me when you start contributing. If I want to share my opinion in an article where I've reported the facts (in this case, two photos) I will and no one else seems to have a problem with it! :)

MTL: Firstly, Ultimate X-Men is just a retelling of the X-Men's early years (and not a very good one at that...hence it's recent cancellation) and should by no means be used as a basis for making a movie off of. It's an "insult" to that series in the same way that it's an insult to the classic series - Fox are taking the characters and doing anything they please with them and what they're doing neither resembles the 616 or Ultimate universes. You'd know that if you'd actually read it. Funnily enough, the early issues of the series would have been the perfect sort of thing for them to take influences from had they actually gone for the real first class of mutants rather than a bunch of characters who [frick] up continuity beyond belief. I'm not going to try and get through to you as I have in the past though - go read my "Why X-Men: First Class Will Probably Be The Worst CBM Ever!" editorial if you're still confused.

MTL: I give up because at this point I'm not sure if you're stupid or just plain ignorant. You're really not as clever as you think you are because it was fairly obvious you had some sort of point to prove by asking me again and again about Ultimate X-Men but you still clearly dont get it despite my lengthy explanations above. As I've said, that series is set in an alternate universe and should not be considered when talking about the movies - the versions who have been around since the 1960's should. Take elements from them as Marvel are doing for The Avengers? Sure. But when it comes to adapting them to the big screen, just taking the characters and paying no attention to the classic stories OR modern retellings like the Ultimate series' is just disrespectful to those of us who care about these characters. You are not one of those people, hence why it is pointless arguing with you as in all honesty, you have no [frick]ing idea what you're talking about.

'Nuff said.

@WittySupername "He was unbiased.... IN the article. He only trashed the film in the comments": True, except in the article when he says "And if for some reason you're looking forward to X-Men: First Class then check it out in cinemas on June 3, 2011. Or you could save your cash and see Green Lantern two weeks later."

Anywhoo, if Xavier losing his hair 10 years later is an insult to the fans, then The Dark Knight must have been a knife to the crotch. Which is strange, because I've been a Batman fan since before I could talk and The Dark Knight is one of my favorite films. I must be numb down there! =O

Ummm...I am seeing nothing biased in the article whatsoever. I don't get what you (MTL) are getting your undies in such a bundle over. As for the comment section, Josh is free to say whatever he wants.

I see it as an insult as they are calling it First Class, but it actually isn't the First Class. They make lame excuses like Cyclops can't be in it because he would be too young, yet they cast his younger brother, Havoc, in the film. Pretty insulting to fans if you ask me. Time will tell, but nothing about this film interests me.

"There's no rule that says Havok cannot be Cyclop's older brother this time. "

Well that pretty much sums up your case and thought process. Who cares about the source material... Just change it up however you like. it doesn't matter. I don't follow that line of thinking. I am all for taking a few liberties, but to tell fans that Cyclops is too young to be in this movie, but we will put his younger brother in IS an insult to fans who know what the XMen First Class is. The logic of "we will just make Havoc his older brother" is just as insulting to me. He plain and simple is not his older brother. Fox, come up with a different excuse to not include a First Class Xmen then the age thing. You blew the age excuse by casting his younger brother. No Cylcops and no Jean in First Class is taking too significant of liberties for me as a fan.

...and since when was this a Havoc movie? Why does he need a big chance? This is supposed to be about First Class, not Havoc.
