When asked by Entertainment Weekly who he based his version of Wonder Woman off of when he was asked to write a script for a movie adaptation a few years back (which sadly never saw the light of day despite positive feedback) the director of The Avengers revealed the following:

"For me, Wonder Woman was basically Angelina Jolie. She spends a lot of time flying around. She works in a lot of different countries. She’s very global. And she’s appalled by the way people treat each other."

I think it's fair to say that there is definitely a likeness there. But at 35, is Jolie a little too old? What would you think of the beautiful actress playing the Amazonian princess on the big screen? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place!
