Trailer For Next Year's Series Of Doctor Who Released!

The highly anticipated Christmas special has aired in the UK, and here is the trailer that followed which gives us our first look at what we can expect from the show next year...

Series 6 of Doctor Who, sometimes known as Season 32 to avoid confusion with the original Season 6, is expected to air in the UK on BBC One in Spring and Fall 2011. The series will be split into two pieces, with the first part airing sometime around Easter, then will stop halfway after episode seven, starting again from episode 8 in the Autumn.

That beard freaks me out

Christmas Carol was a great episode, seems to be getting a mixed reaction on the forums. I don't see how you can hate or dislike the episode and still watch the nu who. This was classic, standard nu who.

It is a long running BBC series, that began in 1963, about a Timelord (humanoid alien with two hearts and the ability to regenerate (into a new actor playing the part) at point of death. Usually with a "companion" in tow, travelling throughout time and space, invariably saving the day.

the christmas special was pretty decent,as for the trailer comic legend neil gaiman said "he wanted to make dr.who scary again".

so i reckon the darker more spooky bits of the trailer are gaiman inspired.

Did anyone notice that just after the shot of him in the beard they show the console of the time machine engine that was in the upstairs flat from the episode when he became a lodger with the guy named Craig.

didnt steven moffat say that we are going to see who river song killed? he said she will kill a man who was a hero to many. and in the trailer, it shows her in what looks like southern america. he also said that the doctor and amy would visit america during the 60's. hmmmm. im willing to bet that the person river killed was jfk
