Sorry about the text all over the following images (it's not my doing!) but Perez Hilton has come across these fantastic shots courtesy of www.OnLocationNews.com featuring the brand new Spider-Man suit. As you can see, we get a very good look at the eyes on the mask as well as the web shooters and redesigned red and blue patterns on the costume itself.





UPDATE: MTV Splash Page have just posted this even clearer shot of the costume, giving us an even better look at the new design!







www.OnLocationNews.com has also forwarded me the full set of pictures taken on the set, and although I can't share these with you right now (due to them being both copyrighted and for sale) the sites owner has promised to stay in touch with the possibility of sharing some of those and future pictures with us here at CBM. LEE: Ain't too clear!?! As you can see below, it's a hell of a lot clearer than the last few images of the mask and costume we've seen in the past few days, lol! :) I think it looks great...still not quite sure about their decision to redesign the gloves (as well as the the web shooters being so obvious looking) but now I can see the mask, I'm beginning to really like this thing. They've really nailed the design of the eyes IMO.

and @hanzo id think it would be because hes just been running down a street and hanging onto a car so they are probably grips,i wudnt think they are part of the suit

I want to dig it, but i think my shovel is broken. I dont know, something is just off. i will not commit to fully hating/loving until I see the trailer, but that red stripe down the legs looks dumb as hell.

and is it possible that those metal things on his feet are not part of the real costume,but just used for the stuntman so he can run better? just a thought.

I think that last shot has Spidey with red eyes because it's a Photoshop job to help make the image clearer. Or has a red light on him because he has red washing into the blue areas.

I like the better shot though in the first picture!

I have a feeling that this will be the "Batman Begins" of the Spider-Man movie franchise. The suit looks much more real-world and I suspect he'll be doing more running and fighting in this one and less web-slinging. If the web shooters are his creation, then it would be prudent to spend a good amount of the film developing those skills.

theWorld, are you trying to say the Spider-Man suit in the previous movies DID look like it was fashioned by a highschool kid? Yeah...

I wish they used more fabric like materials and screen printed the designs but that'd probably suck on screen.
