Set 100 years from now after the war between Christians and Satanists, the film is about a Christian warrior priest (Paul Bettany) who disobeys church law by teaming with a young sheriff (Cam Gigandet) and a priestess (Maggie Q) to track down a cult of vampire outlaws that is led by a former Christian and now a Satanic priest, Black Hat, who kidnapped his niece before they brainwash her.




Priest is set to be released on May 13, later this year!

I am looking forward to this more than anything, must just be my man crush on Bettany (the only thing that can explain my love for his movies, even the obviously shitty ones).

wow its shocking how they changed this so much from its source material ususally I don't make a big deal about it but seriously the manga wasn't that hard to adapt it was horror western really. Oh and theres practically no vampires in the actual manga. But looks alright I guess.

I saw the trailer for this a while back and couldnt believe how far away the release date was for what was basically a full trailer. Looks interesting. I'll keep an eye on it. And the poster is actually pretty sick when you think about all the posters that's been coming out. It could have just been Priest's head and the title. This is above a quick photoshop.It's really touched up and crisp.

This is hilarious. People have the knowledge to detect the fail potential in this movie. But when it comes to future bombs like the Spider-man reboot and Conan, they post "I CAME" pictures. LMAO!

This movie looks as removed from the original literature as the (insert minority race with little technology) were from the (insert racist technologicaly advanced) people were when they were invaded... sexually.
