Captain America: The First Avenger" will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving.)








With an all star cast which includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Hugo Weaving as Red Skull, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Tommy Lee Jones as Col. Chester Phillips, Stanley Tucci as Abraham Erskine and Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Captain America: The First Avenger will be released in 3D on July 22, later this year!

WOAH look at the third picture.... i wonder if thats actually chris evens because he looks tiny, i figured they just used cg for when he was small in the movie.

prolly just a body stand in. from what I see in the trailer, they just CGed his head in - something that prolly took a lot of coordination with the acting/filmwork as evans and the stand-in would have to sync head angles, motion, etc.

Its great the attention to detail for this movie seems to be second to none, love the retro feel as well its really all coming together nicely, roll on July 22 I have my pop corn and seat ready and waiting , go Cap kick some Hydro ass .

@THICKframes that's not Evans in the 3rd pic. notice there is a height difference. early in production Joe Johnson said he would use several techniques to make pre-serum Steve including using a different actor and placing Evans face on him with CGI.
