X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

First we complain & complain about getting a costume closer to the comics...We finally get something close enough & you STILL complain...Would you rather they stop making CBMs...This way you won't have anything to complain about. Mystique is the only one I've been like "Meh" over. But she looks okay here though. And I'm sorry...solid blue skin will look cheesy translated to film people. I remember Nightcrawler's scars in X2, those were pretty awesome..not faithful to the comics, but was a better move IMO.

I think they look pretty good, the prof x painted cover is really good. and Is it me or would Fassbender be awesome James Bond. I wanted Alice Eve as Emma Frost, but Jone's isn't bad

Emma looks like she stepped right off the page in that cover shot. being a huge fan of Mad Men, I think January is going to be a perfectly icy White Queen.

I don't even complain because I want Mystique to look true to the comic. When it comes to that, this movie has screwed up Mystique WAY beyond the look.
It's just...I think is genuinely UGLY. I think Mystique looks really really bad. And I don't complain about looks that much. Others, from Cap to Green Lantern to Thor, to half the characters in this movie, they all look good. But Mystique just...doesn't. Why should I pretend that something looks appealing, when my first thought when looking at it is "ew!" followed by "wait, that's Mystique? ewwwww!".

@Luther..What would be really cool is if Mystique wore a white costume similar to what she wears in the comics. Or even the bad ass black leather one. But hey, It won't be a deal breaker if she doesn't

I've never been this disinterested in an X-MEN movie. I keep forgetting that this is coming out. I like some of the stuff in the trailer but I can't get any excitement going for this. Guess I'll just wait.

This feels like a George Lucas prequel. I wonder if they'll make special editions of the X-MEN trilogy to fit the inconsistencies in First Class.

The more I see the more my hopes for this movie go down. Oh wait, Bryan Singers one of the writers! My only hope lies with Matthew Vaughn.

Gold star for Singer for The Usual Suspects, everything else...... He should stick to T.V. shows.
