Faithfully adapted from the DC Comics characters and stories, BATMAN LIVE focuses on Robin's quest for justice, which leads him to follow in the footsteps of his hero, the mysterious vigilante known as the Batman - much to the dismay of his protective guardian, millionaire Bruce Wayne - who secretly happens to be Batman.

A dazzling celebration of storytelling and stagecraft, BATMAN LIVE is at its heart an affecting coming of age story. Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson - both orphaned at an early age - must first learn to overcome their own fears and forge their own family - along with Police Commissioner James Gordon and Bruce's trusted butler, Alfred Pennyworth - if they're going to survive the combined forces of Batman's larger-than-life rogues gallery: The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, The Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.

Is it a musical? Doesn't seem to be. I had always hoped they'd so something like this; call it "Holy musical, BATMAN, the musical."
It'd be like the Adam West show.
But the costumes look amazing.

Looked a lil' bit better than I thought. However, they should have gone with a simpler looking costume for Batman and Robin.

i was ever so slightly interested till the "creative director"(creative where-in copying mr. schumacher's designs??) mentioned batman FLYING across the audience, onto the stage.

cant wait till he falls off and breaks his neck; they ll hav to blame the whole thing on Bane and get out of there asap.

Cool.

You'd go to see this with the same mindset you have when watching the Brave and the Bold.
Plenty of ham and cheese with mad pyro effects and big dynamic sets.

I'll definatly pick up a couple of tickets when this rolls into town.

Gotta admit, the Joker's costume is pretty impressive. It resembles the Batman: Arkham Asylum video game Joker.
