A recently registered list of domain names seems to indicate that a new Batman video game is being worked on and that it'll revolve around the popular arc by Jeph Loeb, "Hush"...

The release of Batman: Arkham City is just over six months away, but it seems that another title is already being planned by Warner Bros. According to several domain names they've picked up, it looks like it may be based off of the popular arc by Jeph Loeb, "Hush". Here’s the list of registered domain names:

-BatmanHush.com
-BatmanHushGame.com
-BatmanImposters.com
-BatmanImpostors.com
-BatmanKnightFell.com
-BatmanRedHoods.com

Whether this will be set in the same video game universe as Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City is unknown, while we also have no idea just how far into development it may or may not be! As I'm sure anyone who's read the comic book will agree, it would certainly make for an epic enough game! Share your thoughts on this in the usual place!

The comic book sucked it was a terrible story with great art but I could see it being an interesting game fighting all the Batman villains to even Superman in various locations.

I'd prefer it to be an animated movie like Under the Red Hood to be honest, but I'd still play the hell out of the game.

Mmmm is it really a good idea having a game with the Riddler as the final boss? I hope (if its the case) the "based" word is really meaning an adaptation, but I dont really see how to make a video exactly as the story

ok four things make up my initial opinion of this...

1. The artistic direction should go in no other direction than identical to Jim Lee's art.

2. Would have rather this been an animated movie with Jim's art style; we have the Arkham games that are incredible so why another series to confuse the uninformed?

3. Why not an epic Superman game; not based on the upcoming or previous movies.

5. Although this could turn out great, it'll be a little lackluster for comic book fans who will undoubtedly know the outcome of the story.

4. Nobody actually said it would be based off the comic storyline. Maybe the character of Hush just plays a pivotal role in the story of the game.

I would love Rocksteady to make a DC Universe making a Superman game, a Green Lantern game etc in the same world as Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Hopefully if they are making Batman Hush it'll be in the same world too.

Due to time constraints and other things Bruce Timm has said in different interviews which stories they would not adapt for animation which include Hush, Kingdom Come and Long Halloween.

If Hush was animated it would be even more obvious who it was and the reveal at the end would also seem anticlimactic as well.

It HAS to be done in the same universe as Batman AS and AC, those games are too good to just bring out a random Batman game. It makes sense though, considering Mark Hamill wont be Joker anymore they're going to need a new villain to take centre stage for a while before they really bring the Joker back, and Hush is a good one to do.

This would be an epic game or animated movie. One based on Superman: Red Son or Superman: For Tomorrow could be epic as well

I honestly think we need a great SUPERMAN game. I love the Batman series and all the Batman games. HUSH was a GREAT story line but I would like to see a Superman game or a Justice League game where you get to play as multiple characters

We had a decent Superman game for the PS2 called "Superman: Apokolips" but I agree, it's time for a great Superman game for the new gen consoles.

Batman Hush game/animated film would be excellent. I hope that's what they're really planning.

Make it a trilogy and it will flow nicely! after that they can move on to other things!
