The eyes on the mask look at bit poor. Reminds me of the awful suit from the 70's TV series (the mask anyway). Raimi's Spider-Man had a more sleek look to him.
Still, I hope it turns out to be a cracking film.

@GUNSMITH yeah man i agree, that is a sweet shot.

I actually like this new design, especially that mask..And as comic readers we should be used to costume changes and "alterations" lol
Personally i didn't care for the webbing on the Raimi suit, classic design or not.

As for Garfield? As talented as he is, i just don't see Peter Parker. He's also too tall for starters.. IMO. Looks more Ultimate Reed Richards than Spidey.

gotta go with the consensus. the film looks like it will be awesome but that suit is just horrendous. i keep waiting for the shot with him jumping hurdles for trinidad and tobaygo at the olympics

I still cannot make myself like this suit. I'm still hoping we'll get our classic Spidey suit by the end of the movie.

I like thay're making the swinging old fashioned way. But I'm still not convinced this will be good.

Spidey just didn't needed to be rebooted.

If it does get trashed I hope he keeps the glass slippers. I love the Cinderella nature of the Spiderman story and this directly pays homage to Cinderella.
I don't think anyone has brought up that maybe they are tap shoes borrowed from the Broadway set while it remains in development.

I think the BEST improvement to the reboot is that they're actually using a REAL PERSON on spidey's scenes swinging on the web... that's AWESOME!

I'm glad they are doing practical web slinging. In Rami's Spiderman films you could obviously tell when Spidey turned CG and it took me out of the film.

The suits growing on me, I mean yeah it looks alot different than the original, but its good they changed it up. Im looking forward to seeing how real the web swinging looks on screen.

hmmmm....the suit....the suit ....the suit. Nope...dont like it. Its too shiny.....it folds and creases in ways that seem to indicate that the suit doesnt really cling to the body like you would expect it to.....

i suppose i couold get used to the design if they moved to a different material. it just looks to much like plastic....cheap.

His junk is black because of the 3D effects that will be added. If you look at his suit he has black spots everywhere to help subdue areas, I mean you don't want Spidey's junk flying at your face in 3D do you?
