X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.

X-Men: First Class is set to be released in the UK on June 1st and in the US on June 2nd.

Haha, I love how she basically just shoved that guy across the room. Her Diamond Form is looking MUCH better than it did in the previous trailers. Can't wait for June 3rd!

It looks ok, but everytime i see stuff for this movie, I can't help but ask why they didn't use the actual first class?

she's looking better than she did in that first trailer. Hopefully she doesn't "diamond-out" her clothes too. that would be a little weird.

Does anyone notice when Angel Salvadore shows her wings to Charles and Eric they look like they're sitting in the VIP room of a strip club waiting for the goods?

Clothes shouldn't be Diamond.

@Marvel72, seriously what about this movie DOESNT look good to you?

Is it the awesome casting? The impressive special effects? The proven director?

Whether all you wanks want to admit it or not, this movie looks good and you will all see it.

So I am going to say STFU

Woo this is awesome
so glad Emma is kicking ass with her Diamond Form and not just using it as a defensive weapon like in Wolverine

She looks so great. The diamiond effect is awesome

But let me ask you this:

does having diamond skin grant her super strength too?

She would HAVE to have super strength to send a guy flying with a palm strike like she did.

Good old Fox. They love scenes where people who don't have super human strength knock people around and send them sailing through the air. Like Angel. It's SO stupid.

Callisto gets electrocuted and lives... all that kind of thing.

Emma looks good. Pretty much her and Magneto are the only reasons I'll watch.

Why he should looks like in X3?
He doesn't have to, he will have a next mutation later.
Prequel not remake.

I'm all for Beast's 'cat' look in First Class. This is many years before X3, he doesn't have to look exactly like that. I think it's awesome to see both versions.

@AEStark 90s X-men animated and 2000s Evolution didn't use the real first class. But they get away with it, so why can't films
ManThing
ManThing - 5/13/2011, 1:47 PM
@ banekill: that's it man. It was in X3. It was ridiculous. Storm's power is way too much for even the movie Callisto to handle. Even if Storm kept the voltage as low as she could it could still be deadly.
ManThing
ManThing - 5/13/2011, 1:48 PM
@ Adamwham: I didn't know that. Must be a recent development.
