Funny and true. Michael Bay only knows special effects. He can gets good actors and ruins their performance with his directing.
It's like he strips them down to the one thing they are known for most and makes them do that the entire movie.
That being said, The Rock is a classic.

ps, in that shot of megan fox before you play the video, you can totally see up her daisy dukes.

@grif

Michael Bay's movies all mind numbing, yet entertaining. Still, Pearl Harbor sucked ass and why do the Transformers STILL not look like the ones from the cartoon?

If y'all hate the man so much, why do you go see his work. Bootleg it if you don't want to support him, sheeeesh!!! And to compare him to Uwe Boll is downright disrespectful.

Of all the summer blockbusters I've seen over the years,only a handful of other directors can pull off what Michael did! And with all the complaints and murmurings, he still makes more money off of you guys!

Holy bleep that movie just didnt want to end. Its very strange I litterally kept looking at my watch during the what was it 45 minute battle at the end? Who knew thr Energizer Bunny was a transformer because that movie just kept going and going and going....

Spockbot using the needs of the few line......REALLY!!! I didnt cry out in pain in a movie like that since Batman and Robin. Granted when In saw Batman and Robmeofmyticketmoney me and theother two people cried out enough to think Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal were watching

Ample doses of "Depakote" required. If you've ever wondered what having a seizure is like, "Transformers: DOTM," is your ticket to ride.

"DOTM" is a non-stop orgy of pointless, mind-numbing robot destruction and violence highlighted by an endless parade of mechanical innards whizzing across the screen at 200 MPH.

As for the rest of the movie, the plot is a convoluted mess and the human characters are a joke. Not only is their acting bad but the dialogue appears to have been scripted by a 9 year-old. Also, over the course of 2 hours horn-dog Michael Bay reduces women to nothing more than mindless, annoying hump magnets. Look no further than the frequent up close ass and crotch shots of pneumatic Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and the "Vivid" contract girl lookalikes in the background.

Sadly, even the Transformers are lame. Unlike the cartoon and comic books of the 80's, none of the key Transformers are developed enough in the story to the point where you care what's happening to them.

In summary, Michael Bay and the overrated Steven Spielberg succeed magnificently in further destroying a cool sci-fi premise that always had the potential to be awesome in the hands of a more competent, visionary director and producer.
