"Captain America: The First Avenger" will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving.)

The following 6ft poster will apparently be used on bus stations throughout the UK and US. While rather unrevealing when compared to those recently released, it does offer a cool look at Captain America's shield, and will surely grab the attention of those waiting for the no. 42! I'm looking into getting a better quality version, but here's the one I was sent earlier today.

With an all star cast which includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Hugo Weaving as Red Skull, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Tommy Lee Jones as Col. Chester Phillips, Stanley Tucci as Abraham Erskine and Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Captain America: The First Avenger will be released in 3D on July 22, later this year!

I'll bet on that being the cover for the film's 4-disc Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy Edition.

It's a shame paramount dvds have no disc art because this would totally be on the actual dvd :P

PLAIN, but really cool, I like it. This is a type of poster they should have had in movie theaters months ago to promote it.
RedeyeJedi - 7/10/2011, 3:31 PM
@Wildaniel- In your opinion, is this poster both PLAIN and really cool?

@Wildaniel

Would of been better if Fox just drop the rights to X-Men and all mutant Marvel characters in general.

Than we would see all the mutants that were involved with the Avengers (Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Whirlwind, Magneto, Beast, Wolverine, Crystal (oh wait, she is an Inhuman; but rights for Fantastic FOur is alson needed as well).
njferns - 7/11/2011, 3:26 AM
