I was gonna say the same thing AlcoholicA said.

Tons of back zits are a sign of steroids... Not that I care, because to even come close to being Bane-buff, he needs them. Kind of like if Hemsworth juiced for Thor, I wouldn't care. If guys cheat in sports with steroids, that's wrong, but outside of cheating, I could care less.

hes not necessarily juicing, some people just get acne, hell he could be one of those people with back hair and shaves it ending up with ingrown hair. jumping to a conclusion like that is close minded

I really like Nolans take on the Batman franchise, particularly The Dark Knight. I think Keaton was the true-est interpretation of the Batman character. I've been a Batman fan since i saw that first Keaton film. I then read the comics, I am a true Bats fan. However, this Bane looks utterly rubbish. I am not knocking his acting talent, I just think he looks pathetic, ridiculous and just crap.

There's an english football commentator called John Motson who has been wearing Bane's sheepskin jacket for years, and his costume in the pics above are just lame.

I'm not trying to hate, but seriously I cannot be the only one thinking Bane is just designed wrong.

Why the hell is Hardy smaller than he was in The Warrior? Ugh, I'd never be the one to say this, but I'm NOT liking how this movie is looking. At ALL.
Supes17
Supes17 - 8/3/2011, 4:43 PM
Thats the only explanation...I mean the scar runs down his spine.... A burn scar from a fire would be that precise..

To those who still doesnt dig about the mask.

At least now Bane has a reason to wear it ;)

@ThomasRochester

yeah but the back acne combined with the very first pic I saw of him with a shaved head getting ready for dark knight when he looked kinda small, to me, equals a good 'roids probability. Not that I care, I think when good quality steroids are used properly they are no more harmful than drinking or smoking, but with a major benefit of muscle growth. And you know he can get the good stuff and have someone show him exactly how to do it. You could be right, but i've shaved my stomach before and it didn't look anything like THAT...
AlexDeLarge87
AlexDeLarge87 - 8/3/2011, 4:49 PM
They should get Kevin Durand to play big Bane and just let Tom Hardy to play the normal sized Bane!:)
Forilaz
Forilaz - 8/3/2011, 4:50 PM
Btw, those zits were on his back even on the first image of him as Bane, but no one seemed to notice them.
AlexDeLarge87
AlexDeLarge87 - 8/3/2011, 4:51 PM
Or Nolan should get his head out of his ass and use little bit CGI and make Tom Hardy huge!
I said this with all love!;)

i really hope Bane wears just the vest for most of the movie. I wanna see how how ripped he is like in the comics. I hope hes not waring that shirt under the vest the whole time.

ColonelKilgore

Maybe thats part of Bane's design. Venom is a steroid, right? I think he'll get bigger towards the end and the roids just havent kicked in yet. with Nolan, you never know though. Or maybe I'm just an idiot

"I think Keaton was the true-est interpretation of the Batman character. I've been a Batman fan since i saw that first Keaton film. I then read the comics, I am a true Bats fan."

You lost all credibility with this comment.

Any "true Batman fan" can till you the comics were re-interpretated follwing Burton's Batman.
Not the other way around.

Secondly, and most importantly, people crying about how Bane isn't big enough would've been whining about how short Keaton's Batman was.
If you never noticed Kim Basinger has her shoes off every scene with Batman, cause he was shorter than her.
So your "true-est interpretation Batman" was smaller than his damsel in distress.

Think about that CBMer's before you post.

Notice the acne on Hardy's back? Steroids. And lots of them. lol. He doesn't even look ripped. Just like those bloated kooks at the gym who want to look big but not put in the work. Shirts off and the truth comes out. Pilsbury dough boy.
