Firstly, we have these nice new clear photos of Tom Hardy as Bane, taken during filming at Heinz Field last week. While not revealing too much we haven't see before, these are considerably closer than the previous set photos seen, and come courtesy of Chrysler-Group. Beneath that are a selection of set videos taken during filming today. Notice the cannon turning around on one of the "Banemobiles" and explosion noise afterwards in the first one?

Im a huge Tom Hardy Fan Huge fan and I think he was a GREAT choice for this role and I think he looks jacked and Im a huge Nolan fan (in Nolan we trust) but i have to admit for Bane he looks a little small but only because I see bane as bigger than a human could achieve I guess im looking for something beyond this and before the epic fail that was bane in the previous Batman film

Hardy was so cool on set, when the 1st AD announced his arrival on set in costume, Hardy jumped around to face us with both hands waving in the rock on symbols. I don't know if I'll ever be able to erase the image of Bane telling me to rock on...

What are you talking about?! Even in that strip you posted he's HUGE! Hardy isn't big enough IMO, but all that can be fixed in post production :)

Hardy will be amazing as Bane he is just one of those great actors so I think he will knock this out of the park. Bane doesn't have top be 7 foot tall but he needs to be bigger and stronger than Batman.

i like the mask because you cant really have the mask like in the comics because you wouldnt see tom hardys eyes and facial expressions and his overall performance and will just be another faceless goon like the HYDRA solidiers from cap. I also like the sort of padded military costume he is wearing because if he just wore the mask and a vest like the comics he will be a two dimensional character and a little predictable and cliche like other muscle bound characters in films thats why i like nolans redesign of bane

I guarentee Nolan will make Bane look bigger in post production (remember the end of the teaser trailer?) also, he won't be made too much bigger, as Nolan goes for more realistic approaches to his movies (which I love) so I'm betting Bane is going to have some really crazy attribute ex. Immune to pain, can't be stopped, etc.

I am still looking forward to this movie, but i gotta be honest and say that Hardy doesn't look intimidating as Bane lol oh well. This movie will still be awesome!
